If you already hacked your switch. How do you make a clean nand backup that you can restore to go online
You cannot.
And i’ll be able to update my firmware without any risk of ban ?
If you update your firmware online after installing EmuNAND, you're going to wipe the EmuNAND partition installed into boot1.
you can check *censored*. Sorry i dont know if we are allowed to post website names. If is not allowed feel free to remove this comment.
You cannot so I suggest you edit your comment before a moderator does so or worse removes your post entirely.

Hi guys, just one short question...

I want to change my sd format from exfat to fat32, can I just copy the files onto my pc, format the card and then copy the files back to the sd card or are there any extra steps I need to be aware of?

Thanks in advance!

No other steps required.

Hi, can i play just dance 2019 unlimited using my wifi in a hacked swtich? But not allowing nintendo servers to detect my console? I bought it two weeks ago so i have it originally. Or can i use an .nps? ty

No i meant before setup Emunand
Yes as long as you restore your complete clean NAND before downloading the system update online.

All games on the Switch must go through verification on Nintendo's servers to be played online.

but what happens if i own a legit copy? there will be no problem with the game verification, but they will know that i'm using cfw (atmosphere) right?

Most likely yes in which case you risk a ban if you've ever booted CFW/homebrew but did not restore a clean hack-free NAND before going online.

Hello guys, i bought a new switch with good serial number it cames with 3.0.1 firmware. Now i don’t want update to the last 6.2.0 firmware since sx os is not working properly yet. I would like to update to 6.0.0 or 6.1.0 an stay there for now, How is possible to update manually with no issue? Which firmware is ok to use sx os?

Hi, I'm new to Switch and Switch hacking, I got the switch with XAW1005 which is hackable and ordered a 64gb memory card and RCMjig. My firmware is 4.1. Should I keep it at 4.1 or should I just upgrade to 6.2 using nintendo system update and then start backup and Reinx 2.0 since it works now on 6.2.

I'm on Windows so I can't use Fusee Gelee, and I got TegraRCM instead. What's the difference between TegraRCMGUI and TegraRCMSmash though? Which one should I use to inject payload? Thanks!

Should have just followed the original tutorial we all linked and recommended you because that is how you are going to go manually to firmware 6.0/6.1. Reposting for posterity: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

If you must update your firmware, I highly recommend updating without burning fuses using the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX. Fuses prevent downgrading so if you don't burn them, you preserve a downgrade path for lower firmwares which can be useful for future exploits such as a hypothetical untethered coldboot hack.

What? Fusee Gelee works on Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android. TegraRCMSmash is Fusee Gelee, just for Windows.

Anyway the difference between TegaRCMGUI and TegraRCMSmash is that TegraRCMGUI is a GUI for TegraRCMSmash but it trades some functionality for a user-interface. I personally recommend TegraRCMSmash over TegraRCMGUI since there are issues exclusive to the GUI but not found in the original program.

Like Drax said earlier, TegraRCMSmash has no GUI (interface), but its really easy to use: drag the .bin of your payloader (f.ex: Hetake) into the TegraRCMSmash.exe (after entering RMC mode with the jig and the volUp+power) and its done

I have a question myself: I downloaded "NintendoSDK Firmware for NX 6.2.0-1.0" from "xb--something" to update with Choi. Is the right file?
Also, I read that Choi applies autoRCM automatically... I have to put autoRCM in the SD, or the Choi.nro has it build-in?

BTW: using Kosmos

If your plan is to update to firmware 6.2, then it is the correct file.

And for your second question, both ChoiDujour and ChoiDujourNX enable AutoRCM by default. ChoiDujourNX can allow you to toggle it off during the installation process but its not recommended as that will burn fuses.

Also AutoRCM is written to your NAND, not to the SD card. More specifically, its written in the boot0.
