Nearing the end of 2018, Nintendo of Russia's General Manager, Yasha Haddaji, faced problems regarding workplace conduct when multiple allegations were made against him. This all began with an official livestream, where Haddaji was heard loudly berating his employees, using foul language, and saying he would fire everyone in the room. After this incident, some of the workers involved began to come forward and make statements about how the General Manager was mismanaging his branch, with a fan's video going viral with a petition to have him removed. As a result, Nintendo of Europe stepped in and claimed that they would be investigating the claims made. As of today, NOE has made an official statement on the matter, and is as follows:

Nintendo initiated a thorough investigation into each of the allegations made against the General Manager of Nintendo Russia, Mr Yasha Haddaji, in November. "While the results of the investigation acknowledge that Mr Haddaji's loss of temper on display in the video has at times also been observed in the office, none of the allegations of harassment brought forth in the wake of the video were substantiated by the investigation.

"Mr Haddaji fully acknowledges that his conduct related to him losing his temper is a breach of our Code of Conduct, and expresses his remorse to all those affected by it. He has received a formal warning and has issued an apology letter to all Nintendo Russia employees.

"Our top priority is to ensure a safe and supportive working environment for all employees. It's because of these values that we committed to a full and thorough investigation into each of the allegations against Mr Haddaji. Going forward, Nintendo of Europe will be providing more resources to Nintendo Russia to support their efforts to bring Nintendo products and experiences to Russian players.

"We want to ensure that the conduct of all our employees is in line with Nintendo's company values, and we remain committed to upholding these standards in the future."

According to Nintendo's investigation, they could not confirm the negative remarks made against Haddaji, leading to only a warning being issued. More workers will also be brought on board to help things run more smoothly, in the future.

"everyone makes mistakes" there's a difference between forgetting to pick up milk at the store and abusing your employees to the point of degrading their health and well-being, especially to a public audience. adult men who throw tantrums after not getting their way shouldn't be managers of a business. some of you are just too (*cough*stupid*cough*) forgiving.

if you can't handle the stress of a corporation and take it out on your employees instead of being a smart and good person and dealing with it in a healthy internal way then get the **** out of the field.

Exactly! It's not hard to understand. This wasn't a simple mistake. He messed up and should be held accountable for it.

literally. "whoops, forgot my keys" is a mistake, "i'm so stressed i'm going to berate the people that work for me and have lives outside of our work i'm probably affecting with my abuse" is being a waste of space.

on the topic of these employees being too sensitive or "cancerous SJWs" (i automatically disregard the opinion of anyone who uses those words cause they clearly haven't used their brain for critical thinking in a long while)...

if you were working as a cashier/some other type of "low-entry" job (no disrespect to these positions, i've obviously worked them before and i also think people underestimate their importance) and your boss/manager/supervisor screamed at you and threatened to compromise your job, would you think, "everyone loses their cool sometimes :)" or "wow he sure made me feel like trash and violated numerous policies i would be fired for if i did the same"? better yet, everyone tells you to get over it, he didn't mean it obviously and deserves another chance. who cares about the consequences on YOUR well-being when HE didn't "mean" it.

your heads aren't heavy cause they're full of air, you all have a really cool organ called a brain in there. use it.

Did he beat anyone?
Did he cause a degredation in others health?
Or is this all hyberbole and y'all are just upset that he wasn't fired?
Mind you, I don't think it's right, he acted like a dang manchild! But don't be so full of yourself that you are gonna lie and say that you never lashed out at people around you Man up and own it. Apologize. Be kind and move on... You've never done it?
Bad enough that people's tempers get the best of em sometimes but to lie about is even worse.
Damn y'all just itching for public hangings.

I'm (barely) a millennial and I find that most of my millennial brothren are weak pathetic feminine betas that can't handle...well anything.
Robots are necessary when people have become so soft that they can't handle a negative interaction with another person.
My kids are tougher than half of the posters here, so I can see why you guys are upset.

Has little to nothing to do with "being tough". Good to know you offer no rational thought and rely on insults toward people who don't share your views. Breaking policy, berating employees and putting a bad image in people's heads. Yeah, he deserved termination. Guess you're not in deep enough to understand how screwed up it is that people like this stay in power when they offer no incentive. It's everywhere and it's sick. Or are you just that complacent and numb to disrespect that you assume it's second nature? Get over yourself.

You guys are claiming that he screwed up the health of the people around him and that he beat people up.
Hyperbolic as crap.
I didn't insult anyone. I expressed my opinion and that's it.
And to be honest I have put up with that in the workplace I had my boss tell me one time that if he saw me walking down the street he'd pull over and beat the crap out of me as he was screaming and cussing in my face. And to top it off he was a ex boxer that won all kinds of trophies.. I reported him. He was put on suspension. I was happy. The end. I didn't cry about how he wasn't terminated.
I don't condone his actions or this Russian guys actions or this anger mob fake outrage.

And templeofhylia, you are verbally insulting the guy. Is your anger more justified than his was so you are totally justified in name calling a guy you never met before? Seems like counter intuitive logic there.

It just hit me that a good handful of you guys are probably literally kids so I'll leave it at that.

This is really awful. The fact that he didn't get fired means that Nintendo of russia will continue to suck. All the marketing failures are because of Yasha. He literally doesn't care about the company.
As someone said in a discussion on VK under a post about the situation, Yasha would probably bribe someone at NOE just to save his job...seems like that guy was right
