Sorry, that was my mistake - i thought that original GX opens via this forwarder in 16:9. But i checked it now and it do the same thing, only 4:3.
But any other emulator that i have (vba GX, snes GX RX and genesis plus GX) opens in 16:9.
So i realized that problem not in your program, but in my forwarder. So i found new one that works perfect for me here
static.wiidatabase.de/FCE-Ultra-GX-Forwarder-vWii.zip (ONLY FOR WII U!!!)
And of course i need to rename folder "apps/fceurx" to "apps/fceugx" for this forwarder works.
Thnks for your help and for your big work with this emulators!
Yeah, i suspected it. Nice to know your issue was resolved.

Oh nice :)
The GX emus for Wii were certainly the best of their kind (sad the SX/64 ones didn't follow it lol).
But may I ask, why the name RX?
I know GX was chosen because that was the name of the graphics library for the Wii I believe, which the Wii U revamped with GX2.

Yeah, i knew the history behind the cool GX name B-).

Oh, and there's no deep reason behind the name, i just liked it (my son calls this version "Rex"). I also liked Next but there's already a libretro core with that name, now known as snes9x2010. NX is related to the Switch so... RX was born. :grog:

I kinda always wished WiiSXR and Wii64 had the GX frontends. Maybe someday i'll give it a try. For now, i am enjoying learning a bit from these projects, which we owe to Tantric, and specially softdev from the good ole' days.

There's also VBA Next I believe :P
I actually kinda like the name "Rex", written as RX.
Kudos to your kid!
I am looking forward to the SNES and GBA RX renditions :)
Also would love to see if you tackle the SXR and 64 ones as well, best of luck with all the
emus!

You can already check Snes9x RX :yaywii:. That one is my favorite and the reason this all started. Give it a try if you want:

* Port option to not append "Auto" from vbagx. [libertyernie]
* Remove update check.
I still get an update message with version 1.3.0. If i do "update now" it updates to GX v.3.3.9

Can someone tell me whats the problem with Elite and Galaxian? All versions of GX that i tested gives me shifted screen in Elite and very glitchy white noise picture in the Galaxian so it becomes unplayable.
But PC version of FCEUX plays this roms perfect.

I tested both games in GX/RX, they ran perfect.

Thanks for your answer! It seems i have some sort of bad roms or something. I never checked another roms of this games because my roms dont have any problem on the PC version.

LOL. It's okey, it might be that your roms were corrupted on the SD card, or maybe the SD card itself.

Where do the covers go folder structure would be nice to know it is not mentioned in Readme supplied!
All preview image folders are auto generated on first launch -logically- inside the fceugx folder. If you check inside the Settings button in the emulator, you can see the paths (and even adjust them).
