Is custom XCI (NSP converted to XCI) safer than NSP ban wise? and why ?

Sometimes it’s nice being banned so i don’t need to worry about that stuff

Not sure. But I use my own dumps(xci) and haven’t got banned so far.
I don’t have emunand or anything setup.

I play online in SXOS custom firmware. I also play fortnite every now and then, also in custom firmware. Not banned yet.

(Also got some eShop purchases)


Literally trying to get banned. I will use a second switch for online.

I consider both equally unsafe.
One is an install than can only come from Nintendo and you didn't bought it.
The other is a game that may not even have been released as a cartridge and you have it recorded.
If it exists in xci, avoid conversion and go straight to the cartridge dump (supposing you're using sxos xci mounting).
