You were checking the wrong website buddy because this thread, which is much more up-to-date than that website or any other source, says there is a chance its patched and judging by the black screen, my money is that its patched. My Switch's serial number is XAW1008263xxxx it's a grey model and it came with 4.1.0 firmware. In this list it says it's not patched even in this website it says it's not patched: https://akdm.github.io/ssnc/checker. I bought it in Walmart Canada (Quebec province)
R.I.P me then XD Thanks anyways. You were checking the wrong website buddy because this thread, which is much more up-to-date than that website or any other source, says there is a chance its patched and judging by the black screen, my money is that its patched.
Hey, before you give up hope; try using another computer. I was having a similar issue (but mine was confirmed unpatched according to all sources) and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Just used a spare laptop and BAM it worked. Not sure why it didn't on my desktop, but may wanna give it a shot? I'd say your chances may be slim, but it may be worth a go.
I second Madotsuki on this. Don't give up until you've tried this test, and confirmed that you're reading Smashed the stack with a 0x0000 byte SETUP request! (and nothing appears on your Switch screen).
