There are three ranges:
XAJ7004000X and below are safe to buy
XAJ7004100X and above not safe to buy, possibly patched
XAJ7005000X and above definitely patched

You are sure it is in the first and BELOW?!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

What FW was on it original?

Yes I'm 100% sure the serial number is in the first range. About OFW I think It was lower than 4.x because I updated it right away when I bought it a year ago and last time when I updated to 6.0.1 it was on 4.x (I don't remember which version 4).

Okay.
Do you have a spare SD card which could be formated to FAT32 with 32 cluster size?
If so do it an put the ReiNX files on that again (ONLY the ReiNX files) and boot it with the ReiNX.bin file please.
SO we can see what happened then ;)

Sure I'll try it now. Just one question. I'm confused about the correct payload. There is one reinx.bin that comes inside zip file of github release page of ReiNX and another one is linked to in step 2 of reinx guide website under TegraRCMGUI section. The two files are named the same "reinx.bin" but with different size and MD5. FYI I tried both and none worked for me.

Use the one be delivered with the ZIP file.
ALLWAYS use the one delivered with the files please otherwise you get some "mismatch" and maybe a "BleuScreen" ;)

Reformatted SD card pushed the payload with both fusee launcher and web launcher, still the same result. :|

Where is the "Nintendo" folder?
Put the SD back to your Switch and start it ones on original FW!

One more think MOVE the fs_mitm.kip to ./ReiNX/sysmodules/ and you are done ;)

Now the nintendo folder is there but the problem is weirder now. The screen flashes when I push the payload and everything goes black. Even the anime splash is not shown.

Also my file structure was exactly like the way explained in guide website.

Okay i say (write) it again.
Please DELETE everything on your SD card EXCEPT the Nintendo folder!
DL the ReiNX here: https://github.com/Reisyukaku/ReiNX/releases
Take the 2.0 version.
Unpack the Zip and put the ReiNX folder onto your Switch.
Then use the ReiNX.bin to push the payload (i allways, since i use CFW, use the URL i send you) and tell us what happened.

You don't need tinfoil or ReiNX Tool or any other thing.

We only want to get the payload delivered and starting the CFW ;)

Did everything and result was the same. To be sure problem is not from sd used another one and result was the same. At last tried Atmosphere and it was working fine. So switch is hackable, the way I push payload is working and sd is working. I think the only meaningful reason can be some sort of incompatibility between 6.0.1 OFW and ReiNX 2.0

usually you only need to press power button for 12-15 seconds not minutes to hard-poweroff

i also had blacksreen after boot, but than i saw that the file "fs_mitm.kip" was in the folder "ReiNX - sysmodules.dis".
after moving the file "fs_mitm.kip" to the folder "ReiNX - sysmodules", it booted correctly.

Thanks man, i thought that was the problem too because when i downloaded the package "fs_mitm.kip" was in the folder "ReiNX - sysmodules" and i have to manually move it to "ReiNX - sysmodules.dis" to follow the sd structure of the tutorial in the reinx web. I think the tutorial may be wrong. Can someone with access to the Reinx team report this?

You can only install nsp's via USB. You cannot run games from USB neither install them to USB mass storage.

I need some help!

I use ReiNX and I know you can use two methods to replace Album with Homebrew:

1- Use hbl.nro on ReiNX folder
2- Use this folder instead: ReiNX\titles\010000000000100D

If I use the 100D folder I can acess Album by pressing R and selecting Album. If I don't press R it launcher Homebrew as expected.
On ReiNX guide it suggests to use the hbl.nro method and it also says you can customize some settings like the combo key to acess Album. You only need to configure it on this file:
config\hbl-config.ini

No matter what I do, the .ini file it is NOT loaded at all. So, what I did:

1- Use different hbl.nro versions.
2- Use different hbmenu.nro versions.
3- Use diferrent ReiNX payload versions.
4- Place the .ini file on another locations on SD card.
5- Use different settings inside .ini file like:
changing = to :
keep only one line, removing the others...
use diferent combo button, etc etc etc...

nothing worked.
can anyone, or Rei itself explain to me how this feature works?
is it really implemented on ReiNX cfw as it says on the guide?!

Thx!

What did you change in the ini.
Please post it so we can see what happened wrong :)

P.S. i'am not sure that you can use "2 Methods"?!
There is only one: you need the "hbl.nro" in the ReiNX folder AND the titles folder in \ReiNX\titles\010000000000100D
then the *.ini file will work as expected ;)
