Hacking Stream to Nintendo Switch?

Hey guys,

So, the Switch scene just received a homebrew called In-Home-Switching, which allows you to stream your PC games to your Nintendo Switch. So, I was thinking whether it would be possible to modify it or make it such that a PS4 on 5.05 can stream to Switch. That would be just fantastic!

I know a friend who did it the long way. He streamed his PS4 to his PC and then from his PC, streamed to his Switch. Now, I don't know how good it is, but he said it was pretty good and there was not much lag. But still, a direct stream from PS4 to Switch would be so amazing!

What are your thoughts?

Using it to stream remote play from the PC would still require a Dualshock to have a wired connection to your PC though right?

Actual remote play to the Switch would be cool but the Vita does a pretty good job once you add a Hori grip.

I think he configured the Joycons to work as a Xinput on PC and then made it see as a DS4 controller. Am not 100% sure on the specifics. I'll ask him today and post here.

I don't think anyone's worked on streaming games from the PS4 because of remote play. What would be good would be a remote play client for the Switch - this would be possible to port once there's a working unofficial remote play client at all, but I don't think current versions have been fully reverse engineered yet. It's been done before so hopefully eventually.

The request is in the form of a Switch "PS4 Remote Play" client, just like the way we have a PS4 remote play Windows client as well as an Android app.

Fingers crossed it gets picked up
