If you are able to install .cia you could use FTPD. you might have to run one of the earlier versions.

It depends: FBI 1 (white on black text, has you press R and L to select mode and storage) was not really designed for that; while FBI 2 (has black on white text unless customized, asks you SD, ctr nand, twl nand, twl photo, titles, tickets, ... at startup) can indeed be used as a general purpose file explorer (although it's not commonly used for that purpose)Just to get it out there, I have FBI. Will it be able to show all files in the sd?

Ok, so it looks like you are either running you are running Menuhax, which means that you need to use the .dat installer for B9S. You should just need to download the latest SafeB9SInstaller and set up your current bootloader to link to the current SafeB9SInstaller.dat.Hi! Well, I've yet to read on the pros and cons of all the current CFWs, and people are saying B9S may be able to support future updates. I actually don't mind what CFW I get as long as it can update to future firmwares (if 3ds will still get some), I can get games easily, and it has few errors . I would've settled on the old CFW, but it was a pain booting up. Anyways, thank you for replying, and I would love to hear more from you once you have the time
Uninstall menuhax by booting to sysNAND and changing the home menu theme. Then follow https://3ds.guide from the beginning. Follow the optional move emuNAND section when it is offered. If you don't uninstall menuhax before you begin, you'll get a black screen on boot part way through the process and you'll have to uninstall it manually to continue (deleting particular files from the Nintendo 3DS folder).I have the files for the SafeB9SInstaller and all, unfortunately, I have yet to find out what the bootloader for my CFW is and how to link to the *.dat file. I'm very outdated with the 3DS as the last time I did CFWs was thru RxTools, and that was more than a couple of years back. Could you kindly point me to the right direction on what files/links to read? Thank you so much!
