Hacking Playing Wii Virtual Console on modded Wii U

I know there were some Wii game downloads for the Wii U released like Metroid Other M or Wario Land Shake It. Is there a way to get these working on my modded Wii U?

Installing Wii VC games to the WiiU is the same as installing any other WiiU game.

In a nutshell:

1. Download Wii VC games, it should already be in WUP/USB ready files.
2. Copy files to SD CARD.
3. Boot into CFW: Haxchi CFW or Mocha CFW.
4. Boot into Homebrew Launcher Channel.
5. Use your preferred WUP installer: WUP Installer GX2 or WUPINSTALLER Y MOD.
6. Install to external USB Device.
7. Launch game.
8. Profit.

Once installed, you MUST boot into CFW everytime you want to play these games, this goes for any other VC games for the WiiU. Since these tickets are fake signed, CFW is required to patch the tickets so it can be installed and played.

No you don't have to softmod your vWii, don't forget, these Wii VC's are official eShop releases that has been dumped, so you'll be fine.
Just make sure you download your region version, which I assume is USA, if you download EUR/PAL versions, you most likely will get black screen. This is because the EUR/PAL versions of the game might not have the NTSC video modes encoded into the game, therefore black screen. This only applies to Wii VC's.

Thanks for this information, as I just installed the Haxchi hack method but dunno how to install any sort of games (wii/u/gc/vc or whatever) on my console.

If I understand what you are saying, a WUP installer is a program that allows you to install any kind of game (wii/u/gc/vc or whatever) from the sd card to the nand or a usb device, right ?
