Do you even know what stock clock means? Im not talking about handheld or docked...

As I understand it we are running the CPU at 1020mhz regardless of if it's docked or undocked, while the GPU is getting a boost in docked mode from 307mhz to 768mhz.
And this is most likely why you get higher temps in docked mode. So what you are talking about has nothing to do with the CPU clock...

GOOD LORD

Just sick of people bringing up cooling as a reason to not overclock. Not really sure how it's relevant since we're talking about things that Nintendo won't do (like only overclock portable or don't OC GPU docked).

Sort of a strange thought, that the cooling would be made first and the CPU would need to be underclocked to accommodate, when underclocking for no reason is a very Nintendo-like thing to do...

How is cooling even a concern ? Your Switch runs 2x hotter inside the dock alone. Not to mention if your switch isnt charged you drop it in the dock and start gaming for hours the Switch is getting even hotter because the Switch is now charging and under full load for hours on end.

Holding it in your hands will provide a much cooler then any docking situation ever will .

Thanks to all involved and of course to M4XW :)
Out of curiosity how well did Beetle PSX run in you tests? I know PCSXr works really well with the OC but don't know about PSX Beetle Core?

Great work!

Am I right in thinking this will make it into the next round of nightlies?

Yeah should show up in the new Nightlies, probably a few hours away though.

Developers deserve this kind of respect even before releasing finished product.

To those who have been patient it was well worth the wait.

I'd be thankful for all the time and effort put in. The entire team has done great work.

Thanks for the release. I saw a few pages back of talk about messing with the heat syncs. Is this advised before using this? Or did I get the wrong end of the stick?
