Hello all,i followed the guide over at guideDOTsdsetupDOTcommanualupdate to downgrade from 6.2.0 and i downgraded to fw version 6.1.0 without a problem. At the time i did not read the important part that said about downgrading side effects, i,e my fuse count being at 8 as that was the fuse count when on fw 6.2.0,so now that i am in fw 6.1.0 when i put switch to sleep mode or even if i press the power button it will not boot back up from standby/sleep mode,so i take it that it is because fw 6.1.0 is expecting a fuse count of 7,and mine is still at fuse count 8 after i downgraded and the boot gets confused and wont boot as it is a mismatch ?.

((I can boot into cfw,it is that i have to do this everytime. And there seems to be issues with it charging properly while docked)).

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I was thinking can i edit the value of my fuse count by using HacDiskMount tool and edit the first bootloader that verifies Fuse reserved 0dm7 value ?. and flash in a new value,in my case to fuse value 7 ?. I could flash it using balenaEtcher software maybe ?,i know a little about this subject but not enough to be confident that i can actualy do this or not ?.

Anybody here with enough knowledge about this could help or guide me :),i am willing to try as i will just buy a new one if it breaks, but i would like to try a few things first.Or would using gptrestore v1 to restores the original nintendo switch GPT to your eMM work ?.

Another thing i was going to try was to compile a custom cfw with a few edits and add in the working keys from 6.2.0 that i have from extracting them with the new updated biskeydumpv6 tool, i,e my keys.txt file and i would use Cygwin combined with devkitProUpdater for the tools i need to compile it,i have read up on how to do that via the simple cmd "make" commands.

I have a friend of a friend who say he has a masterkey that i would need to do this.Would that work or i am way off with my idea of thinking on this ?.I appreicate any help given and i would be interested in disscusing a possible solution.

So what i am trying to do is create a custom cfw with added keys, and a masterkey and a compiled atmosphere-master files with a few edits to the fuse count and then attempting to boot into 6.2.0.

(Edit:Not a double post it was due to me posting in two parts as it would not let me post it all together for some reason.)

oh okay.. well i didnt dont have a nand backup of prior firmware.. trying to get help to downgrade without a prior nand backup..

that one guide claims to downgrade without a prior nand backup or keys still trying but just getting lits off errors .

I had no backup either, and i followed the same guide and it was ok,apart from the issues i am having. What do you need help with ?, i will try and help you if you need help.
