Hacking [4.74 HEN RELEASED] Payloads and information thread

This thread will contain 4.74 ported payloads until (hopefully) a NOBD method is found to update 4.74 stuck consoles to 5.05.

To access debug settings send the FTP payload via TCP.

To host the files use the exact same methods as for any other exploit before this: send payload BIN using netcatgui method, or convert to pages and host the pages using a web server method such as miniweb or xampp. Instructions are adaptable from here: [AIO] PS4 Exploit Guide | GBAtemp.net - The Independent Video Game Community

No, no cfw for PS4, this is kexploit so far, no hen just yet.

Edit: I’m on iPhone and it’s near impossible to edit colours, so this will have to do until tomorrow. I will tidy it up then.

Hey there, folks. I dug up my ol' ps4 and saw that it's on 4.72. Now that I'm trying to homebrew it, should I go ahead and update to 5.05 then jailbreak? Or should I update to 4.74 for benefit of a lower fw version? Is there any advantage to having 4.74 over 5.05? I've successfully cfw'd my ps3 and enso'd my vita, I'm just having a hard time finding info about ps4 fw versions. Thanks a ton!

You can update to 5.05, there are more games for 5.05 than 4.74.

I tried 40 times to load fake_installer.bin and 30 times it shut down my ps4. Nine times it shut down after 20-40 seconds. And only one time it didn't shut down and worked normal.
It is very buggy at this moment.

I am wayting next version.

i found that offline files are buggy - binloader is buggy.

http://zecoxao.github.io/ is more stable !!!

fake_installer.bin is the same.
i use payloader sender 3.0 on my android phone.

Guys the HEN payload is unstable, not final, so it may have odd results.

If possible copy the files to your own file server and cache them.

I will convert the files into pages to host offline... eventually.
