Didn't people also said that on firmware 5.0 as well?
Not on this way. They say now that the whole firmware is locked. We must now wait until a exploit like Meltdown or Spectre is released (those exploits also cause by security issues in the ARM co-CPU.

CFW is still possible, but not further then 6.1 So I guess we should wait until the official announcement of Team Execute how they see their product for use. Maybe they will supply their own EMU-NAND backup to load from the SD-card (because that's still possible).

what do you mean 6.1 is completely fine.

I know that my friend, I was wondering since I want to play Smash online (I know a big risk) if Updating to 6.2 and getting banned would leave me with no option to use neither OFW nor CFW.

i'd buy a new switch to play smash or any other game online. Keep your hackable switch hackable for life.

When will they learn? Nothing is uncrackable. Nothing. Especially consoles. How many times has this been said only for it to be cracked? 3DS games more recently come to mind.

An exploit will pop up or something, but it'll happen. It sucks it happened though.

have you seen the massive amount of single player content?

So? I still feel the same way.

Besides after Nintendo ruined a man with a family's life recently by suing him for 12 million dollars just for having roms of their old games on his site I have no hurry to want to support them.

People starting to get all preachy in here, screw Nintendo.

For the time being fixing warm-boot (wake-from-sleep) with mis-matched fuses would take a lot of pressure off for a fix, since you can keep using 6.1 on emunand while having sysnand on the latest (unhackable) firmware for online.

I guess so if you can’t come up with over $300 in games you won’t have to pay for. The math worked for me.

That's the thing, the math doesn't work for me because there aren't many Nintendo exclusives that I am interested in.

Roms of both old and recent games. And not just having them on his site but having that littered with ads and selling premium access too. At 12-17 million users per month.
Stop being an idiot and so the math, that couple massively profited from their copyright infringement which is why they settled for millions.
Whatever was destroyed, they never would've had in the first place. So losing it all in bankrupsy is more than deserved.
