'League of Legends' comics to be published by Marvel
Remember League of Legends? That trending MOBA title just a couple of years ago before the battle royale genre (mostly) took over the online gaming scene? Well, it will be getting the comics treatment from none other than Marvel. The latter and Riot Games are collaborating to bring a series of monthly graphic novels based on the game that will be available digitally starting Wednesday, December 19 and will kick start with an origin story - LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: ASHE: WARMOTHER- diving into the story of archer Ashe:
The Iceborn warrior Ashe, who struggles with her role as a leader for her people in the world of Runeterra and her mother's fanatical expectations.
This partnership will involve Riot Games writer Odin Austin Shafer with Nina Vakueva's (HEAVY VINYL) art.

While the first part of the series hits digital platforms Wednesday, December 19, the complete physical version of LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: ASHE: WARMOTHER will be available in May 2019 will be available.
