I've been out of the scene since 3.0.0 was the only hackable version, I have a 4.1.0 or 4.1.1 (can't remember) switch right now. What can I do to hack it? I've read there are two CFWs (besides SX), is that true?

There's also SX OS but it's a paid option, but also the only version to play copies of cartridges

Also to note:

People are creating downloads which brick your switch. Always have a backup from hekate!
Plus be aware that there is some hate in the scene...

Currently there is a Smash Bros Ultimate brickware .NSP going around. the Let's GO Pikachu one is now safe

Atmosphere 0.75 is the latest and greatest. Kosmos package is a handy way to get it all together quickly. Hekate 4.2 Make a backup, you'll want boot 0/1 and raw (full) or SYS (min).

Get anything from trusted scene repositorys.

Understatement of the day. Between the Tinfoil name confusion and pissing match and the Pikachu brick code there is a lot of bullshit tearing down the scene. I've been modifying consoles since my original xbox and I've never seen so many bratty kids cause so much chaos as the Switch scene.

Apparently, as i was told, the 3DS scene was the same, if not even worse

I have kept my 2nd switch (hacked 5.1) offline since the very beginning before i installed sx-os auto rcm, never installed .nsp's and only .xci's i have been itching to use the ftp/homebrew store/etc but i do not trust stealth mode/ i think i am banned already anyway. How have the ban waves been?

Man, I got banned by just being online....didn't do anything. lol

Well you forgot the fights between developers only wanting to support one CFW and hating on other CFW users

Where is the fight between reinx, atmosphere and hekate prepacked CFWs. They all cooperate and to some degree rely on each other. All support the same stuff. The exception is Xecuter, but they are not fighting with anyone either.
And hate is only in the community, not in development (against other CFW users).
