Homebrew Deleted Streetpass Mii Plaza DLCs (Which Was Downloaded from Freeshop)

Hi. A few days ago I decided to reset all the games that I have cheated. I want to play games without cheating. But I accidentally deleted a DLC game from Mii Plaza when resetting another game's progress. I tried to go to VIP Room, the bunny allows me to re-download, but it always shows error. Now freeshop is down... Please help!!

Well, you will need to either uninstall the DLC title + its ticket (removing all premium content) and buy the original, or find a pirate CIA yourself

You need to search the Internet for the dlc yourself as it is against site rules for members to tell you where to find it or post links to it.

Open FBI, then:

1. Enter Titles
2. Search for this Serial Code: CTR-M-HMEE-00
3. Delete it, it should say Mii Plaza (according to that title key site)
4. Exit Titles
5. Enter Tickets
6. Search for this Title ID: 0004008C00021800
7. Delete it

Done! The next step is to download the .CIA file and install it again with FBI... and if you want to keep your save file (just in case you would), back it up with JKSM or Checkpoint.

Easily fixed just do a system update and the 3ds will see mii plaza is missing and redownload it for you.

If you have a previously made SysNAND *.bin image that has StreetPass Mii Plaza.

1. Back up your current SysNAND in case this goes wrong. This is for your safety.
   
   • GodMode9 Usage - Creating a NAND Backup
2. GodMode9 → 0:/.../######_XX########_sysnand_000.bin → NAND image options... → Mount image to drive → <A> yes.
   • Use the NAND *.bin image that has StreetPass Mii Plaza (not the one made in step 1).
3. Go to 7:/title/00040010/00021800/content/00000000.tmd → TMD file options... → Build CIA (legit) → etc.
4. Found in sdmc:/gm9/out directory, rename 0004001000021800 StreetPass Mii Plaza (CTR-N-HMEE) (U).legit.cia to:
   • 0004001000021800.cia
5. Put that *.cia file in the smdc:/updates folder. Don't put any other *.cia files in there.
6. Install this dumped StreetPass Mii Plaza with sysUpdater. I don't recommend using FBI when installing CTRNAND titles.

If you can't dump a legit *.cia from your old SysNAND *.bin image, you'll have to try downloading a copy with 3DNUS (Dr.Hacknik's).
If anyone mentions the CDN server side block, it doesn't apply for downloading 3DS firmware titles. I guess Nintendo is nice enough to let us keep these.

Ah, yes. That will work so long as he hasn't updated to 11.9 yet. I don't know if it'll fix missing system titles if one is already on the latest 3DS firmware. Thus, the solutions I presented assumed worst case scenario where he would have to find or obtain StreetPass Mii Plaza in less ideal ways. *Ssshhh* Bestow him the important lesson of 1 ounce of prevention versus 1 pound of cure, the hard way! Muhahaha!'

I tried it on latest fireware so yes it works perfectly fine.

I wouldn't wait because firmware update 12.0 may never come.

First, try @AmandaRose's approach with HOME Menu → System Settings → Other Settings → System Update.

If that doesn't bring back StreetPass Mii Plaza, try it again with Recovery Mode.

And lastly, there's extracting that *.cia from a backed up SysNAND or downloading it with 3DNUS as mentioned in post #11.

Yes, the update system is fully modular (it's not even capable of knowing that you are on "11.9": it does know that you have 000400DB-00017302 v11408 installed (which by absolute coincidence is the title responsible on european systems for the "11.9.0" part of the version number) but it's not held to any particular check)

It "just" downloads a list of what Nintendo arbitrarily declares as a list of titles every console should have and their minimum versions, checks for missing or low-version titles that match the list, and uses standard system functions to download and install them

Yes, it can go wrong (some still unknown causes make it fail consistently, with the only known workarounds being restoring a working backup/ctrtransfer or manually updating via cias)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! One thing though: the Title in FBI is "StreetPass Mii Plaza", not just "Mii Plaza"
