Surprisingly I'm still not banned up to this day and It's been months now of using cfw's like sx os/reinx.
I think it's just noobs & careless people that are getting banned. I expect the "homebrew only" and "for no reason at all" ban reports to increase tenfold in exactly 4 days.

I'm about to test the XCI version and stay offline until the release date. I'll update here if I get banned or not.
Change your date to SATURDAY in your console before testing! That way he play log will stay within the release date!

Is there a lot of report of being banned, when only using nsp?
I plan to remove the airplane mode, I miss online functionnality and ftp.
If I got banned, I would be sad, but I won't care that much, because I planned to buy a 2nd switch for my little sister christmas gift, so I will give her mine instead and buy a new for me.

Edit: Just to say, I don't plan to go online with pirated nsp, I have all my legit games for that (pokémon, mario kart and splatoon2).

Do you think it would be possible to make an automated process that backs up/restores the NAND as needed before switching between the clean NAND and hacked NAND?
Automating a process that takes over an hour? The tradeoff is ridiculously low.
How many folks have been banned for having a custom Switch theme? Asking out of curiosity ;D
That's a good question. Typically, I don't mark LayeredFS only bans anymore because its hard to tell what the ban cause is due to so many variables present when using LayeredFS. However, people who use it for Modding purposes only may have been using themes when they were banned.

I mean, compared to manually doing it, that would be faster.
Again, not really. The main tool to dump and restore the NAND is Hekate which most people already use for a wide variety of purposes. Just having Hekate or something similar do the NAND dump and restore will shave off a minute or two which is monumentally minuscule in comparison to the time it takes to dump and restore the NAND in the first place. If you can find a developer willing to put time into this, feel free to find one but I can't think of any rational person who would waste time on this idea.

Any bans for only using homebrew to import a downloaded game save file? No save managers or anything else.

I have been using sx dongle and sxos pretty much since it came out. I only do XCIs and stay in airplane mode with wifi settings deleted. The only homebrew i've used is hekate to dump my keys and nand. I have converted a few NSPs to XCI, never received any errors or crashes on my switch. About three months ago while on 5.1 i connected to the eshop to dl a game. fast forward to now, i needed a sys update to play a new game. I updated in official firmware to 6.1, was able to access eshop. I did not restore my nand prior to updating. back to airplane mode and sxos

I see a lot of hate on SX OS, but damn if it works. It seems to be the safest option, aside from restoring a clean NAND. I've been using it in the exact same manner as you described, and no bans as of yet.

I've experimented in the 26th october banwawe, an account and console (only buyed account) ban, for buying an account in PSNGAMES a few weeks before.
I had made another purchase for Switch in the past, without having problems (apart from the cancellation of the purchase from the account after a few months: I could play it, but not to re-download it).
I had unplugged that account long before the second-last banwawe.
So be careful.

Is your account really banned? What happens when you try logging into your Nintendo Account on their website?
