Yeah that one had issues for the cleaner. The idea is for the planned Batch Tools is to be a manual builder. For these cases it'll let you generate the xci entirely or partially with titlerights encryption and then it'll let you get the [lc].nsp files to install the ticket in your system. It'll be like an advance mode.

I tried running the Xenoblade Chronicles DLC through XCI Builder 0.7 which generated the appropriate [lc].nsp files but I get an error trying to install them to my Switch.. is there a specific installer I need to use them with?

Yep they install with SX OS installer or first versions of tinfoil. Were the old tinfoil nsp.
BTW Xenoblade 2 works without titlerights. From what I remember the game, last update, language pack and 1 of the dlcs were fine. I need to check with last versions of the dlcs to see the ones that still have an issue. I'll advice to wait a little for Xenoblade 2

Yeah I talked with other user in discordthat had an issue with doom as Huma had and it also worked in airplane mode. It also works with wifi if you disable stealth mode.

Wouldn't this connect to nintendo and cause a ban?
Can nintendo detect using games with titlerights removed?

As far as we know, XCI or Cart games DONT have titlerights, therefor we are good. In fact merging the update and putting everything in a single XCI file could potentially prevent BAN better than ANY other method out there! Since you wont even need to install updates in the system!

i guess the exception would be games that are'nt normally on cartridge, and dlc's, right?

how long is it taking everyone on average to generate the final xci when converting a single game that's over 10GB or more, consisting of the base game + update + multiple DLCs (all as nsp)

What is the basic difference between a "normal" xci and one that has been converted from an eshop nsp using this tool? Do sx os behave differently for the two? Are there cert data that differ (I see mentions of "title rights" in this thread - what is that?)?

I have made a successful conversion of golf story and when looking at it in xci explorer, it looks the same as other xci on the surface, meaning only blank FF in the cert. I fear of getting error messages in an otherwise very clean console. Am I missing something? I think it's strange that rom sites only have nsps for eshop titles if this method would prove as safe as regular xci.

Edit: I'm not talking about combining nsps, just the basic conversion with the tool.

Yeah I have a couple of ideas to reduce times with hacbuild. I'll test in the weekend.

Empty update partition basically. SX prevents the update partition to load so no issue there.
You could potentially fear telemetry in case they check for only eShop games but I don't think they will, they would need to keep track of limited edition s.

HOPE YOU HAVE A FUN TIME

No spaces, tried multiple files, multiple sizes, download direct from github, Keys ok, changed the path in zconfig/NSCB_options.cmd, always same error.

Edit-

SOLVED
Just remove the "read only" in nsp file

Yeah was going to tell you that. If you download from torrents some downloaders put a read only flag in the files and it'll give error in the batch.
Should be an option to prevent that in your torrent downloader.
Other error it gives with read only files "unable to decrypt nca header".

BTW yesterday I got working direct extraction from xci files so next version won't need hactool for that.
