Sorry for the noob questions, I'm still learning how all this stuff works.
I'd like to use this to patch my 4.1.0 for exFAT, and that's really all I want it for. Looking at the instructions on page 1, the only options I can apply are:
- Extract the UPDATE partition from an XCI image
or
- xbins
I've attempted to use XCI Explorer to do #1, but there are only two items that say "update". One says "update.hfs0" and the other is a folder named "update" with what seems to be over a hundred individual .nca files. I have no idea what to do with any of these things, and there's no indication which of the hundred-odd .nca files is the one I want. Will the hfs0 file work, since it can be extracted? Earlier in the thread rajkosto mentioned using a command line to extract it, but I couldn't find mention of a command line, nor where to apply it or how using it would help differentiate one of these files from the hundreds of others around it.
Looking at the entire xbins file listing for switch doesn't appear to have anything relating to the update partition of an xci image for 4.1.0 or an archive of the SYSTEM:/Contents junk of someone's switch that I could download and apply.
Where can I find this stuff?
Help would be awesome.
