Hacking Updated on 4.83 and now multiman doesn't work

Like an idiot I update my cfw ps3 and now multiman just doesn't start and I can't play any game backup. What can I do to make multiman working again?

I don't believe mm has been updated yet. my advice is to go to 4.83 for system activation, downgrade via qa flagging back to 4.82, then spoof with sen enabler if you want back online.

No it is not. I'm guessing you're new in the ps3 scene. Multiman and so forth were used back in the days when there were no plugins and then plugins came to be and the creator of multiman created webman because it had built in plugin features. One would be dynamic fan control built in and so forth. Webman has tons of more features and that all from xmb itself. You can use network features like checking the temperature through your phone and so forth. It even allows you to customize your xmb. So no multiman is not better. I'm guessing you haven't been in the scene that long

Its best to have both webman and multiman, from past experience some games just couldn't load with webman, but worked with multiman.
Anyway until the OP gives more details on whats going on its a guessing game if his on cfw or ofw

I thought you meant multiman and i know what it is. It's the same just with another added plugin. Just an evolved version of webman. i use it but still call it webman

Ok, so what should I do? Basically I have to reinstall multi man with the version you said or install old 4.82 fw?

I don't know anything about hacking and stuff like that, reading people on this thread somebody say multiman is old stuff aand that webman is better. I am not figuring out, in the end I just want to play game backups and using the most recent cfw and programs. So if you guys can tell me what to and what to use would be awesome

Speaking of updates, I need to go from 4.82 to 4.83 while keeping my CFW stuff due to shenanigans with my legal games. Literally have to get online long enough to re-activate my PS3. Do I need to update OFW and CFW, or just CFW? And clearly I'd need a new copy of Webman/Multiman
