Hacking cecha01 on 3.01 cfw?

HI! i found a cecha01 running 3.01 at a flea market. Is there any reason/benefit to stay on lower FW? or should i just update to 3.82 and install rebug?

No reason at all, just update to 4.82.

If its still on 3.01 why not just go to 3.55 OFW then on to 4.82 CFW?

Can't you just install 4.82 cfw on 3.01?
