Just found out that my local library has switch collection for patron to borrow. My question is that can I still insert a cartridge and play the official games after install ReiNX? Do I need to boot up to original Nintendo switch firmware? Or can I play it in Reinx?
you can, but some people disable their gamecart slot when they install cfw (nogc patch) to prevent it updating when they update older firmware without burning fuses.
Yes you can, not only that but if you have an backup of the game you can insert the cart in and play the same game you have as an NSP install on sd card, if you are on firmware 4.0 or above you don't need nogc.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
