Is there any way to delete a corrupt save file in pokemon quest? Gotta start over lol but cant seem to delete it.
Do none of the homebrew save mangers have an option to delete save data such as EdiZon or Checkpoint? I think DevMenu has a feature that relates to Save Data but I'm not sure what it does. It may be worth checking out as well.

I have a switch on 3.0.2 and i am trying to link a Nintendo account.
It asks me to update.
Am i safe to use Choid to update to 6.0.1 then add the Nintendo account or will it not allow online access?
I have already made a nand back up.

I don't think its safe to update to 6.0 offline using ChoiDujourNX because it is currently impossible to update to that firmware on account of a lack of cartridges not coming with firmware 6.0. If you want to safely update to 6.0 without burning your fuses, you can try giving this guide a shot.

Trying to work out how i can add my Nintendo account so i can play the NES online (Hacked version) but it asks me to update.
Was thinking of going to 6.0.1 maybe on your advice or 5.1.0.

Thanks. How can i add if on CFW?
If i update via Choid will it work

I have a complete raw nand backup I made which I think I need to use. My screen turned off midway through a ChoiDNX exfat update and now my switch won't turn on, no matter how long I hold the power in. I noticed on a restoring nand tutorial that they put a boot0 and boot1 file in alongside their nand. when I created a full backup it made several files but no boot files. I assume the full backup will have them built in, is this right? Also, what should my folder structure be, or should the backup be on the SD root?

No, the rawnand is separate from boot0/boot1. If you didn't back those up, then you will have to try rebuilding them with ChoiDujour.

Hi.

Trying homebrew DZ i uninstalled 1 (or more) title/ticket/whatever related to Xenoblade 2.
Obviously, my save now does not work.

Because I could not know which one it was, I tried to install all DLC i found on the web.
I installed eveything, both on Nand and SD but the game keeps saying that DLC has been erased.

(There is also torna and V2, not on the image)

Game is cartridge and dlc are nsp taken from the web

I just cleaned and reinstalled eveything, still not working :-(

I definitely need help with that.

Edit: i found more dlc to install but i'ts not working yet :(
How can i know which dlc is missing ?

Is it true that on 6.x i am unable to unlink my nintendo account?!
According to their website, you can un-link it but you have to delete the associated user. Not sure what will happen to your saves but they should remain untouched. Of course any games purchased with that account will no longer work after deleting the user unless they are reinstalled in CFW.

Thats worryingly disappointing, I thought i'd backed up correctly using a tutorial. Are these files console specific, or can i use someone elses copies (if I can find them)? I assume it's too late to try a new backup now i'm bricked, but is it still possible to grab just the boot files from a fresh backup, or are these unuseable? Remember I have (what I thought was) an option1 full rawnand backup.

Got a small question:
I'm planning on hacking my switch in near future. But I don't want my nintendo account to go banned? What is the best ay to do this? Can you unlink your account somehow from the switch? Or is a full factory reset the only way? Or is a full factory reset not even enough?

Also if a full factory reset is needed, is there a way to preserve my current savefiles?

Is there a way to update your OFW without Choi? Via .xci for instance? Using OFW 5.1.0 and SX OS 2.0.1, but can't play some recent games after updating since they apparently require a later OFW...

Hey everyone, in the end I bought a Switch from a local retailer and its serial number starts with XAJ70025, so it should be safe. I tried using a paperclip to access RCM but gave up pretty soon and decided to buy a 3D printed jig; I'll leave a message in the apposite thread as soon as I get it and send ReiNX successfully (if at all).
In the meantime there's something bothering me on reinx.guide:
Please note, if you do decide to use exFAT, your Switch must download an update to utilize this, which means it must be on the latest firmware. As far as installing the update, all you have to do is insert an exFAT Micro SD Card into your Switch while it's on and it will prompt you to download an update.
My console came with 3.0.2. The question is: can I safely update to add support for exFAT without risking to make the console unhackable? (I know Fusée Gelée can't be patched by Nintendo via software updates, but better be safe than sorry)

I've never seen a successful transplant of a boot0/boot1 from a foreign console. I think your issue is a little more advanced and warrants professional advice from someone like rajkosto, mattytrog, or CTCaer.

The only ways to unlink an account from the Switch are deleting the user associated with the Nintendo Account from the console or performing a factory reset. The saves are stored on the console so they should be preserved.

There are no other ways to update your firmware outside of using ChoiDujour/ChoiDujourNX or the official system firmware update. You cannot update the firmware using an .XCI file.

Use the homebrew application, ChoiDujourNX, to add exFAT support to your console.
