Hey guys,i picked up a 3ds that I didn't use anymore to test some files, but I founded the ban 022-2812 in this console(possible I got on the Pokemon Sun/Moon ban on 2016),and I can't create a new NNID. I searched some posts here and on google, but all of them is from last year and 2016. Is it possible nowadays to bypass this ban?I'm using B9s 1.3+luma 9.1 on the FW 11.8

Hey, you're from this thread.
Did you ever get the memo I sent you about fixing that brick here?

***
Method 1, LocalFriendCodeSeed_B.
Yep,it's me and I didn't received the memo lol, unfortunately my friend sold his bricked 3ds
Returning to this problem,I already inject a seed with EasyMode9 yesterday, the error 002-0102 is solved, but when I try to create a NNID,the 3ds return the error 022-2812,I read in one post here that this error is a ban on the device ID,but I don't know how to fix it

It could be that the friendcodeseed you used is also banned. That'll happen with publicly shared ones.

Other than that, did you use System Memory Format when creating a new NNID? If you did that and your 3DS happens to have an device id ban where you're not even allowed to access the Nintendo eShop or update the 3DS firmware, that's the super ban that's not fixable at all.

Well, that's really strange so: I fix the ban 002-0102 with this seed yesteday, I can access Eshop and update the system too but I can't create a new Nnid,I formated the system, unnistalled b9s but nothing work. You reccomend me to test another seed? Because I have a private seed in my computer that I extract from a 3ds that I had

Keep your private seed safe for the moment; don't use it.

I can't remember if I read this somewhere, but I think you first make a new NNID on your original banned LocalFriendCodeSeed and then inject the new seed.

It may have something to do with the seed being tied to the original 3DS it came from and the first NNID made with that seed.

Someone who knows better about this topic, please chime in and correct me. (I dunno much about this subject).

Models(and every other thing else) does not matter in this case as it's not a seed ban it is more like a serial number ban
I know what I'm talking about.

If you don't use a CTCert and DeviceID that corresponds to your model, you can't access the eShop without getting an update nag because NIM incorrectly sees your console as the wrong model. Therefore, it thinks that you are missing titles and need an update. You also can't just change the ID either as Nintendo verifies that it's a legitimately signed ID (hence the need for a clean CTCert).

I can just change my serial id fine also use PUBLIC seeds fine.. and in my opinion 022 is just a serial ban because there is nothing else nintendo bans.

P.S (wth is ctcert in a 3ds and can you please post a link where it specifically says fc's are tied to models as i am a using one from random site)

EDIT: wait now that i think the ctcert thing is the console identifiers in secureinfo_a that is also where serial code is located so if you use o3ds secureinfo_a on a n3ds that would trigger updates, but you can hexedit the said file to change your Serial

I know what I'm talking about.

It can be from a bigger model? My is a old 3ds,can be a old 3ds xl? And how can I extract and inject the CtCert and the DeviceID?

Yes xl and non does not make difference as long they are both "old" and it's a file called cert.bin wih decrypt9

SysNand Options> System file Dump> certs.bin

@am714 and @Joom ,I injected the certs.db here with the D9,but didn't work too,the same error when I try to create a nnid: 022-2812

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@Joom,how can I extract the two files that are in your video?

That's not the right file. You have to dump the ITCM of an unbanned console and extract them from that using dd (I have the command posted somewhere). Then you'll need a loader to inject them into the ITCM of your banned console. Simply copying them to there with GM9 won't work either since the ITCM is flushed upon reboot.
