Hacking Speed button for nds games in 3ds consoles

Hi, i have a r4 for play nds games in my N3DSXL. This method of emulation works very well but this method not have speed button like a gba emulators for pc this button was very usefull for the repetitives parts in some games. I understand that in r4 or nds games cartrige is played to 3ds consoles using equal resources that a nds. The question is, Exist a any idea for add resources to r4 emulation, for create a speed button, for example?

DS games run on the same CPU the DS had so no way to speed it up.
