Hello GBATemp.

Before i installed cfw on my switch, i made a NAND backup with hekate, but the problem at time was that i didnt had enough space on my sd card (32 GB) to make a full. So i used the two options under gp partitions, i first used emmc Sys and put on my computer, delete and then i backed up emmc user and put on my computer.

Now.. My question is.. Would i be able to restore my nand backup if i only got Emmc Sys and User backup in hekate? Or am i skrewed and doomed to only offline?

Those should suffice and sounds good its just.. what about your Emmc Boot 0/1? You make no mention of that. Should probably make a back up of those too when you can.

Thats the problem.. I didnt think i would need it because i just thought that emmc Sys and user was enough. Which ofc is my own fault.

How can i make a backup of boot 0/1 if i already hacked my switch, that would not be a clear nand.. Or am i wrong about that?

You'll be fine to do it with Hekate without incriminating yourself. Just make sure to remove auto rcm if you have it enabled before you back it up. My only concern was you didn't have it to begin with.

So even if i have installed some nsp's and homebrew i can just disable auto rcm and take a boot 0/1 backup and then what do I do if i want to restore?

I do need to mention that i had 4.0.1 when i made the nand backup and I updated to 5.1.0 with ChoiDuJour.. So how do I do this? Should i downgrade to 4.0.1 and then make the backup of boot 0/1 and then restore emmc Sys and user if i want to go back to stock?

If I were you I would make another backup of 5.1 to be safe: system ,boot0/1 and user. You should have the boot 0/1 before you downgrade not after. The good news is the only console specific partition of your nand is the prod info. So it is possible to recreate a nand from scratch as long as you have the prod info part.

Thanks for all your help!

I have just backup'ed my 5.1 Nand without Autorcm (Boot 0/1 and user). Now, should i disable Autorcm before i restore my 4.0.1 Nand?

And inside my Backup folders i created at the time there is inside User/Partitions = User.00 to User.12
And inside Sys there is Partitions and then BCPKG2-1-Normal-Main, BCPKG2-2-Normal-Sub, BCPKG2-3-SafeMode-Main, BCPKG2-4-SafeMode-Sub, BCPKG2-5-Repair-Main, BCPKG2-6-Repair-Sub, PRODINFO, PRODINFOF, SAFE, SYSTEM

Does all this look ok? and how do i restore that NAND?

I do need to say that i installed 5.1.0 with ChoiDuJourNX with the Exfat function enabled.. So should i format my SD card to Fat32 before restoring NAND?

Sorry for all the Questions im just alittle confused about all this.
