Homebrew could Cdn downloaders work again

best you can do is google "that iso site"
and if you cannot do that, you may as well give up

Possibly, but it works more like it does on Switch now, which means bans are likely when downloading content you don't own. And, as you might have noticed, on Switch that will now instaban. So if it becomes a problem again on 3DS, there's little doubt they'll do exactly the same thing there.

It's because this guy keeps posting dupe threads asking the same thing and does not search for answers to basic questions. Of course, you wouldn't know this if you're an infrequent visitor in the 3DS forum.

Nope. There would be too much work for something that isn't in need/demand.
There's just so much that would be necessary to make a "private server" for CDN downloaders. Buying servers, writting code for all the whole background/API of requesting some kind of title, there's just way too much to be done. It's not coming back ever, really.

that may be the case but there is a right way and a wrong way to fix that and Hunter did it the wrong way when being ex staff he should have known what the right way was.

No one said anything about a private server, but now that you mentioned it, not only would that be completely pointless as it would be far easier and safer to just make a tool to browse that ISO site, grab links and download them, but there's also the legality issue, it would 100% guaranteed be shut down as it would be mirroring the entirety of eShop and there's no way Nintendo would overlook that.

I meant private server in a way of saying a place to store all the .cias or whatever kind of file so the person would download it directly from. Just like FreeShop used to pretty much pull them from Nintendo's servers, if a new version of a CDN downloader would to be able to work, it would need somewhere to store the files for the games.

Sometimes, the right way doesn't work when you try to tell that person, but he or she doesn't get the message or the hint. For incidents like this, being a blunt asshole is the only way to get across to them.

While I don't know of @Hunter's previous interactions (if any) with @ComicMaster148, I do know from first hand experience asking about KOR DSiWare Seedminer theoretical stuff, that the only time he is like that is if you're wrong about something AND being incessantly stubborn getting your facts straight.

A lot of the old time, knowledgeable members here are generally nice people with good intentions, helping out many 3DS users with all sorts of different issues. Unfortunately, there are occasions that a newcomer decides not to heed their instructions and advice... When that happens, a person in Hunter's shoes would be a bit miffed and may feel the need to say something. And act on it.

That's if you're a nice enough person, but not everyone is like that. To him, it's probably not a serious enough etiquette issue to warrant a PM, so just get the message straight across on the public forum. The Internet is not all sunshines. As long as he didn't break any ToS, the only thing you can argue by is a court of public perception.
