A word of advice: don't add weapons of characters you haven't unlocked yet to your inventory or you won't be able to make certain badges when you unlock them. Also, do not use the editor to reveal all secrets in Adventure Mode until after you've revealed the first one properly, else you will be stuck in a tutorial you cannot ever complete.

Thanks for the pointers - I was just wanting to max out Link & Zelda so the fighting would be much easier :D

only way to get your save file is by using a homebrew save manager like checkpoint

What s homebrew?

I am a superhard Noob, i have no idea what i have to do. Is there a FAQ or something like this? From step 1 to the finally one ?

^check out this sub reddit's help section at the top and ask around.

a quick run down to get you started however is that you need a jig(google "Nintendo Switch jig"), a micro sd card of at least 16gb,
and a usb-c cable(same kind as what comes with a switch pro controller or that nintendo charging grip for the joy-cons)

Yo, im working too on a savegame editor for the switch version. Difference is, mine is hosted on github, so noone needs to download anything.

Currently only added Materials (i guess not all of them, idk how many there are) and rupees. Will add more stuff as it goes

Currently reachable here:

https://iaroc.github.io/hyruleWarriors/

Just drag & drop your zmha.bin into it, and click load. Edit the Stuff you want, click on Save and you get a new Savefile back.

Remember, always do a backup of your data!
hell yeah baby!!!!! thanks!!

I have done it the only thing is glitched is the adventure map the first one it does not have all the things you can unlock.
For example the gold and whatever is in the keeps chest. I just used a guide to see where everything was.

As for the weapons i dont remember the editor actually letting me add weapons unless they added the feature. Best way is max everyone out and their first weapon unlock everyone then edit to your hearts content.

The highlighted section is fairy food amounts (255 each, including Gratitude Crystals). The order is odd. For example, Pumpkins are all the way at the end, after Gratitude Crystals.

It should be safe to use this even if you haven't unlocked that type of food yet. I did a quick test myself. However, it's still your own responsibility if things go wrong of course.

You even get bronze Gratitude Crystals, which you cannot get legitimatly. If you do not want this, put "00" instead of "FF" at the 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th and 18th position going backwards from the end.

Could you tell me the offsets for legitimate gratitude crystals?

Edit: ok, after messing around and remembering food comes in 3 grades, i got it myself.
everythng between 2690 and 26A0 is gratitude crystals (except 3 which are apparently arcanum seeds or something) of different elements, with the 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th and 18th being unobtainable bronze versions

Hey! I've been interested in editing my Hyrule Warriors game since the Wii U version. Since I've moved on to the Switch, I'd still like to ONLY max the characters because I still want to play the game, but make it a little easier so I don't have to re-play stuff over and over. (I know. I'm a baby...) I have no idea how to do that since I'm a n00b. Do you have any words of advice? Anything helps, thanks!!

I'm really looking forward to the badge editing and access to the rest of the adventure maps!
Thanks so much, this really is some awesome work.

Is there any way to unlock/discover all fairy food ? because recently a use cheat for all item and now my fairy garden and aventure mode crash the game ....

EDIT: Anyone know where in the editor is the line for item in adventure mode ?

Also.
Badges still don't work. And all my characters don't gather EXP anymore, even though they're put to level 70.

Is there a possibility to do a trainer or something for Hyrule Warrior Definitive Edition just like how there was one for the the WiiU version of the game

Is this still being worked on? I know that Legends had a save editor that gave all the Skulltulas and the Adventure Mode "Treasures" (candles, ladders, bombs, etc.), and since this game was essentially built from Legends, the same should be possible here.

To be fair I would be willing to donate to the creator in order for him to finish the editor since I don't have the patience at all

Does this support teh NTSC (USA) version? When I clicked on the link on page 1 there was no USA flag option...
