Hi, i got a strange bug, with the korean version of Tomodachi life, i loaded the game and everything works, and when i touch to the "Push start to play" button i got an error message on the bottom screen, is really strange cause i never got this problems with other Korean games (Like Mario kart 7), or japanese games.

Console version : PAL
CFW : Luma3DS
3DS version: 11.8

( sorry for my bad english ^^" )

i tried to redownload the game, and something weird happend

The game file is in .3ds and i use GM9 to convert in .cia
The game file size is 512Mb
when i convert with GM9, the convert stop at 1Min before the end, and the file size is 312~Mb.

Why GM9 stopped the convertion like that ? ( i don't push B button )

Like what I said earlier, it can be a bad dump if it is a bad dump, converting it to cia won't help

@happykiki, GodMode9 might not be able to convert the game due to Korean naming for the files.

You can try converting on desktop using 3DS Simple CIA Converter.

There's a way to simplify conversion using a boot9.bin file. Read here.

If your copy still doesn't work, you might have success obtaining a copy from that 1up site. Select the Free Links (Slow) option. Use JDownloader 2 download manager instead of your browser.

Lastly, another issue might be you can't play the game because your EUR 3DS doesn't have the Korean character support.
Region-free patches: The region lock preventing foreign/imported 3DS games from working has been removed. Carts from the NA (North America), EU (Europe), JP (Japan), KOR (Korea), TWN (Taiwan, Hong Kong), and CHN (mainland China) regions should work without issue on any region firmware with Luma3DS, eliminating the need to perform region changes. Note: CHN/TWN/KOR 3DSes use a different shared font archive than NA/EU/JP. It may be necessary to install the other regions' shared font archives if your out of region game does not work.
  1. Before you try this, backup your SysNAND *.bin and save it aside on your computer. See here.
  2. Go to that darth site and download the KOR firmware package matching your 3DS model.
    • For example, if you have a n3DSXL, get 11.7.0-40K with MD5 hash 8155a3ef8397f8dbadc58456af2e5c66.
  3. You'll need sysUpdater to install these *.cia. Put them in the updates folder placed in the root of your SD card. Do not use FBI to install these.
  • JPN/EUR/USA System Font ("font:") - 0004009B00014002.cia
  • "KO/KO" dictionary. : 0004009B00011A02.cia
  • KOR System Font ("font:") : 0004009B00014202.cia
4. In case anything goes wrong or it doesn't work, use GodMode9 to SysNAND Restore (Safe) your NAND image.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
