@Gericom Mine is a prayer.. any chance you'll resume work on the decoder? There is just ONE version of Dragon's Lair with restorated video in the original 4/3 aspect ratio.. and it's the Wii one (MOC5).
Like princess Leia said on.. "Please help me Gericom, you're my only hope" :)

Alas, there are no new releases since 2016 and MOC5 support is alpha. Write here asking Gericom, but he's not actively developing it anymore it seems :(

@Gericom I don't know if you are still working on this program or not anymore, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

There is already an enconder for files, the Mobiclip Multicore Encoder.
I have extracted the video files from Gyakuten Saiban 5 (Ace Attorney Dual Destinies) using MobiConverter. Now, the problem is that both images are contained on the same .avi file. When I try to encode these files with Mobiclip Multicore Encoder, the resulting .moflex, also gives that "shaky" effect.

To properly create a 3D video on Mobiclip Multicore Encoder, you need to add the two frames separately, and here is what my question is about: could you add an option in your converter to split the video files in two? One .avi for the left images and one .avi for the right images.

That would allow to create a proper 3D video for the 3Ds.

I haven't worked on this for a long time. I'm currently very busy, so I don't have time for it either. The changes required should be pretty straightforward. However, I think something like ffmpeg might support converting something like this as well. It's just one of the different possible ways to encode 3d frames. Maybe the multicore encoder even has a filter for converting? Maybe you could check that.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried ffmpeg through a program called Mobius (https://github.com/adibsurani/Mobius). In fact, the person behind Mobius based his work on yours.

The problem with Mobius is that the resulting .mp4 file (which output comes from ffmepg) dosn't work correctly for some reason.
If I convert it to moflex again with Multicore Enconder, MobiclipDecoder plays the video file but very slowly.
Also, I have an Nvidia 3D Vision monitor and when I try to play the .mp4 Mobius outputs (it's a side by side video), PowerDVD doesn't load any video. PowerDVD has no problem playing regular 3D BluRay rips (I always watch 3D movies) but these files don't work.
Of course, it could be a Mobius problem and not an ffmepg one but I have no way to contact the dev to make sure where the problem comes from.

I'll keep trying with the .avi MobiConverter outputs and see if I can make it work.

Why can't we convert MOC5 Containers yet?

Can you make it so MOC5 videos play with full speed?

Hello there. I just tried it out using Kirby planet robobot and the converted avi keeps jittering back and forward. I assume this is because of the 3D. Is there a way to combat it? (it doesnt show up in the decoder.exe)

Is the Mega link in the OP indeed the latest version? (even if it's already years old)

is there any way to fix the video flickering when converted?
I tried to do converting some 3-4 years ago but failed, today I succeed, but the result is as you say, haha xD
Have you found any good converter from .moflex to .mp4/.mkv or so with raw format of video and audio? I could do encoding later or even 4K upscaling for old very low res xD

There's one from the Nintendo Developers Portal but you need to sign up there to obtain it.
