I did a system check and will be uploading it here because I don't know what any of that means. I followed a tutorial in youtube by HighTekMan videos, ,

I followed everything he did and I got stuck at the WBFS part because none of my USBs can be formatted so I gave up on that program after trying countless solutions to no avail.

I'll also upload the files I have on my SD Card.

Thanks!

SD card files (couldn't upload it here) (Google Drive)
I can't post any links because I'm a new member and the folder is big to upload it here. What can I do? I'll list the apps I have on the SD card.

Never follow old YouTube videos. They are guaranteed to be not up to date.
1. Nobody uses cMIOSWiiGator and cIOSX anymore, lmfao. Remove the cMIOS and replace cIOSX with d2x cIOS. Same for IOS 236, remove that shit.
2. You're using the wrong sysCheck, the recommend version of sysCheck is sysCheck: HacksDen Edition.
3. Waninkoko's WAD Manager is a fine one, however I would recommend using a more recent one like WiiModLite.
4. Never format your USB to WBFS, ever! It's common to get your USB corrupted when it's on WBFS, backup your games and format your USB back to FAT32 (or NTFS if you use USB Loader GX).

I'll re-run a syscheck with the one you named but how do I remove the stuff in point 1?

I might have corrupted (ruined?) one of my USBs because it won't read and it says that I need to insert a disk.

I also did this stuff. ,

EDIT: I basically deleted all apps, I uninstalled IOS236 and the other stuff, I'll probalby try from "zero" and hopefully get it right this time. Which guide/videos should I use?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late response, but something that helped me with CFG games is going to their settings in CFG and changing their IOS to 249 instead of Automatic. IIRC Wii Sports would have not worked otherwise. Just thought I'd share.

hippoman, that's because you installed wrong, outdated, cIOS.
So, you have issue and you recommend your setup to other users ? how can you recommend something knowing it requires hacks to make things work correctly ?
just use proper setup ! update your cIOS to v8 final base57, instead of using d2x v6 base56.

I've read it backward.
I though you said you need to set CFGloader to use "auto slot selection". but I was wrong, sorry.
in fact, you force CFGLoader to use your installed IOS version.

But I still see it as a workaround to fix a problem you might have. you probably have a wrong setup if CFG loader can't select proper IOS slot automatically and you need to force one slot. maybe your other slots are also outdated, or CFGLoader can't find a IOS with the base it wants?
Or maybe it's a bug in the loader, it selected the wrong slot when using auto?
Forcing only one slot is fine though, doing it manually is how USBLoaderGX works too.

I added USBLoaderGX to my Wii but it didn't work, and CFG worked fine. Yeah you are right, I recommended to change the CFG game settings from Auto to 249. Should have made that more clear. Sorry!
Also, I think that the problem might lie with the games trying to use other cIOS's I didn't install. Since, like I mentioned in the other guide, I used v6 of d2x to install 249 only, configuring it to 249 would have used the sole IOS I knew for a fact was working. I believe that Animal Crossing: City Folk's auto setting automatically set it to 249, but Wii Sports set it to an IOS I hadn't configured. Either way, it worked for me so there shouldn't be a problem.

I think modmii generates a "proper" multi cIOS slot/base setup for CFGLoader.
I guess CFGLoader is not scanning all the slots to make a map of your setup, but expect specific base in specific slots?
well, I don't know, it's only a supposition, but that would explain why a game doesn't work if you miss a slot for example.

forcing all games to use 249 is good. v8 base56 is fine, but not the best. almost all game work with base57.
Animal crossing works with base57 too, but require a cIOS base38 if you want the keyboard support.
