Just wondering what is the best way of getting SX OS working on my atmosphere enabled switch. I have some NSP's installed and I would like to keep them installed, would installing SX OS remove the current NSP/Saves installs? Is there a way to convert it over?

Just buy Sx pro and put boot.dat in your SD. That's all you'll keep everything. And you can swap easily between Atmos/SX with the payload you load.

Alright so update:

I installed SX OS I validated my license and everything however the games dont open "this software is not currently on the console" also when I select the album icon and hold the R button I only get a grey screen and nothing shows up, looks like its not booting the CFW or something, I installed all the files correctly and followed the instructions from https://sx.xecuter.com/

Anything Im missing? Im able to boot into the SX OS boot screen and select RUN CFW and I encounter no Error apart from "this software is not currently on the console"

Are you using a Mac to transfer the files to the micro SD? If so, that is the problem I had and had to go to a PC, transfer everything off the card onto the PC, erase everything off the card, and re-transfer everything back on to the card. Good luck!

Have you tried entering the album without R held?
No windows here, I tried the album thing with R and I get a grey screen
Recombulate the tickets? Oh hell no!
It just keeps getting complicated with non-SX stuff.
SOrry to hijack the thread...
He may have to reinstall with SX
How would I reinstall? Like a full factory reset??

First: Sx os is normally working no need for factory reset. You just don't have a clue how to use it...

R while loading the album does only load hombrewmenu. For this to work you need to put the homebrewmenu file onto the root of the sd card. Holding L while loading album does load the original album app. Holding nothing and entering album loads the sx menu where you can load up xci install nsps and load homebrew directly.

Read the manual first before asking please...

EDIT: Your games not loading could be a ticket issue. Reinstalling the nsps in sx os should make things work again without loosing any save files.

Thanks, I did read up. I have the hombrewmenu file on the root, I dont even get the SX menu... The reason why I am posting is because I had the home menu working fine with my previous payload, the only thing I added was the SX OS files, please read my original post

Your original post tell nothing about sx os menu is not working. It was the 3rd last post from here on.

Do you have any NSPs/XCI on your sd card? If not put one onto it and retry loading the menu. I remember I had also that issue the first time I loaded sx os.

If nothing works than your filesystem or partition on the sd card could be borked and is not read properly. Copy all files from sd card to pc format it again with one of the guides (I suggest exfat and a bigger cluster size like 128k for optimal reading/writing of bigger files) and copy those files back.

The NSPs are already install on the SD if that is what you mean... I installed them with my previous build
