Hardware Micro sd too big for switch slot?

SanDisk Ultra / micro SDXC UHS-I card / 256gb

I managed to format it for games and it works fine but... when i insert it into the switch, it feels like the card is too big because it gets kinda stuck. This worries me alot. I can get it out eith effort but still...

Has anyone experienced this? And is this normal for a micro sd with that much GB?

What about when you first got the sd card and put it into the console for the first time? Did you have difficulty inserting it?

I saw on a video that the Chinese sd cards that have spoofed sizes often have been repainted and that makes them slightly bigger. This may not be the case for you, but for others that see this may have this problem.

Hope that's not the case for me, as I got mines nowhere near china x-x guess i'll be returning the sd then. This whole stuck problem worries me.

Try to put there some large files and see how it fares. Or run a test with those tools to see if it`s fake. Nowadays there are many "high quality" fake cards that can pass under the radar.

Well the problem is, theyre popping up on Amazon and EBay a lot now. Used to be just on sites similar to AliExpress and Wish. You gotta stick to name brand now, and fulfilled by amazon themselves or the manufacturer. USUALLY though, they dont try to counterfeit name brands. They dont need to because plenty of people get duped into buying off brands trying to get a deal. I would guess yours is legit, but you should run some tests to be sure. This video recommends H2testw for windows.

no, Im pretty sure mine was smooth when i got it. I just got mine two weeks ago. It comes out with no force, almost to a point where when you eject it it almost falls in your hands coming out. I hope that helps

By to big do you mean the amount of storage it has or the actual physical size of it
