I'm playing DQ7 rn and I saw this thread awhile back when it first started. I'll check out the other Monsters games in the meantime

Awesome! Terry's Wonderland 3D and Joker 3 are both translated, so have fun with those in the meantime.

I hope someone would translate this because I really enjoyed playing the translation of terry wonderland and joker 3, but joker is more of a side series. I would want to play the continuation of the main series and this has more monsters than joker. Thanks in advance!

DQM1 3D was the best thing I've ever played on my 3DS. Brought back so many memories from the good old GBC DQM1 which I played like hell as a kid and loved every bit of it.
Now I'm hyped for this.

I agree with you. When I saw SE was remaking the entire game for 3DS and finally gave up hope it was coming westward I died a bit inside.

Did you ever catch all the monsters in the original? A year or two ago, I downloaded the rom on my phone and did it. Really really fun now that we have the internet for breeding guides. I make a Goldslime as fast as i could and watched as I drained the blood of my enemies.

Yes I did. Including all demon lords and Watabou. Took me some time to do it and I remember printing out some hatch tables from the internet to do so but honestly: Those were the days man! I was so happy when I got them all. If I remember it right you needed Watabou to get the last demon lord.
To have that lord and Watabou I even started another savegame on my sister's module just to get Watabou again and share it over to my game with a link cable.

This was the only monster game of the dozen or so I've ever done so. Had 2 GBC consoles and trading and breeding across the cable worked so well. Had the guide and it was a wonderful feeling to 100% something!
