You are on 5.1.0? Just format then! What's the point?!
The point is the amount of time I have to spend to copy my entire SD content to my PC, format it and copy it back.
First world crying, I know, but that's why I asked for a FAT32 solution in the first place.

The official SDK has a DivideNsp Powershell script, it splits nsp files into 4 GB chunks (4294901760 Byte

The output name is:
Game.nsp\00
Game.nsp\01
Game.nsp\02
Game.nsp\...

Maybe you can try to do this with HxD and test if installing works with DevMenu (it will not work with tinfoil or sx os).

If someone tests and tells what splitting works (I gave up and took my second switch to 5.1.0) I can implement this in my splitting tool at some point in time.

I find a 18 step tutorial still not comparable to "a walk in the park".
must be a harsh are where you take a walk.

I think you might be able to just extract it with hactool and then install it via Tinfoill by choosing "Install Extracted NSP", it is just an idea anyway. As for updates and DLCs, you would have to wait until tinfoil fully supports its installation.
