And like i said following the tutorial i linked, without layerfs and i managed to install a whole bunch of games already, it's just these specific ones that i'm having issues installing for some reason

Good luck, I do not know what could be because I did not try this method

It's incredibly weird. I managed to install mario odyssey, hyrule warriors and a bunch of rogue lites onto the the system memory but these i'm having so much trouble with for some reason

if you already tried everything and did not solve it may be some problem with your Nand

I hope not. I will say though, before i was having trouble downloading legit games from the e shop, as in games i actually own or demos but not anymore, now that works just fine. And if it is a NAND issue, what can i do about it?

I suppose at this point you have a Backup of your Nand, you have to just restore your nand using Hekate 3.2

I don't have a NAND backup. Guess that if it really is a nand issue i'm screwed

try again the tutorial you followed calmly from scratch to see if it works

if it still does not work., even if you do not have a backup of your Nand it is still possible to recover using this tutorial https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

Ok something is DEFINITELY wrong here because now hekate is saying my mem card isn't even inserted!
I've read a couple people had problems like that with the sd card reader coming loose or something, press down on the reader and see what happens. Or if you feel capable, rip her apart. It's super easy and you get to know your sd card reader and emmc intimately..
I would also make sure your emmc hasn't popped off either.

I don't think it want to open my console up, i'm not...technically savvy enough for that. As for the EMMC how do i check that?

Well for the emmc you would have to take it apart, and if it is the emmc you probably wouldn't be able to even boot up, I know because I had that problem.

But for the sd card reader, just take off the kickstand and press down on it, it's only attached by the tiniest of connectors and one person at least had success with that. Can't hurt to try.

OP says hes not technically savvy but then argues with me in another thread about how safe it is to use tinfoil to trigger RCM. You cant make this stuff up.

OK Im done. Have fun buddy

Well then i can say it's no the EMMC cause it can boot normally without any problem. As for the sd card reader i'l see what i can do

Tinfoil hasn't been in use for nearly 100 years, just say foil, or aluminum foil if you must specify type of foil.

Ugh i'm giving up on this for now. still can't install the damn games even though i have plenty of room on the card and the NSP files i have are good. Thanks to everyone who TRIED to help

If you want to uninstall a .nsp-based file, do you simply do it from the Switch's system menu? I know with .xci's you still have to manually remove said .xci file from your SD card.

If I've already removed the original .nsp file after installing, then removing via the system menu is the only thing that remains? Thanks

What do you mean by "fake card"? Cause my card works just fine on the pc and on other devices
Your symptoms seem to indicate a dying or fraudulent card (cheap chinese knockoff with crap chip or misreported size).
Not saying you do but I'm just running through possibilities.

Have you tried:

1) repairing with windows
2) reformatting with Rufus

You gave up too easy. I sat here staring at my switch for 3 days before I finally figured out why it wasn't powering on.
