I not have the A9LH, but how can I confirm it? And how can I assure I did the transition between A9LH to B9S right (right now I'm uncertain of EVERYTHING)?

Did the step you suggested, turning on with sel open the Luma 7.1 coniguration (and in there, the only option with a "x" is "show NAND or user..."

Okay, this falls outside my knowledge in 3DS custom firmware stuff. I believe you do have boot9strap but with some caveats.

I'll need to refer you to someone who knows what's going on. I remember reading something there might be incompatibilities between newer versions of boot9strap with Luma3DS v7.1.

I summon thee, the great @Quantumcat!

  • Put GodMode9.firm on the root of your card and call it boot.firm (replace the one that is there)
  • Get FBI.cia from https://github.com/steveice10/fbi/releases
  • Follow the injecting any application to health and safety section of https://3ds.guide/godmode9-usage with FBI.cia
  • Replace boot.firm with Luma 7.1
  • See if your 3DS starts and if you have FBI on your home screen (open health and safety if you don't see it)
  • If you want to help us know what was going on, go into FBI, then CTR NAND, then rw and tell us what's there (and in any folders)
  • Follow https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s, replacing boot.firm with the GodMode9/SafeB9SInstaller one (named boot.firm) when you need to use GodMode9/SafeB9SInstaller. Once you're finished the finalizing-setup page you should be all good.

If you still have your 8GB card that you cut from, and haven't written to it since then, you can still recover all the files you cut.
True, but unless that contains a NAND backup from before the format (and it is able to be gotten off the card unchanged) the files won't do him any good. It would have been fine without the format.

-RW
--luma
--payloads
config.bin
--GodMode9.firm

-shared

-sys
LocalFriendCodeSeed_B
native.log
rand_seed
Secureinfo_B
updater.log

I don't know if I made myself clear with this, please tell if you need some more edit

Hmm... in this case, I wonder if it would be possible to derive the original system's encryption keys using Seedminer with the ID0 from the original SD card and decrypt the recoverable files. I don't remember enough about how it works to be sure...

Yeah so the reason you were getting GodMode9 without the right boot.firm on your card was because it was in CTRNAND/rw. Once you finish updating-b9s and finalizing-setup you will have the correct file here and it will still boot properly even without the SD card or without the right files on the SD card.

Well guys and girls, finally done.
The result?
HUGE SUCCESS!!!

Just thank you would not live up to the joy
I feel at this moment. @TurdPooCharger you have my eternal gratitude for all kindness and patience dedicated. @Quantumcat was decisive on this too, I'm very grateful to you too.
And thanks to everyone who has read the topic and followed my dilemma.
Success for you, success for me and success for all.
