Team-Xecuter Releases SX OS v1.4

TX Releases Another Update To Their SX OS, with lots of nice improvements in v1.4

We have not heard from TX for a while, but don't worry, they back with nice new update to their SX OS, check out v1.4 below:

SX OS v1.4 Announcement
Good day, loyal users!

While we chip away at many different features for SX OS and additions to our SX hardware family we took a break to prepare an update for SX OS with some exciting new functionality and outstanding bug fixes.

Let's have a look at what's new and fixed in this release:
  • Integrated NSP installer
With our last update we introduced the possibility of installing eShop NSP titles. However, this relied on using external tools and wasn't very user friendly. In this release we bring our own integrated NSP installer as part of our menu system. This is the neatest and easiest way of installing NSP titles, enjoy!
  • Integrated homebrew launcher
Launching homebrew used to be done by launching NX HBMenu by holding R when entering the album. While we kept this possibility (mostly for developers), you can now also launch your favorite homebrew directly from our own menu!
  • IR / motion plus issue fixed
A few games (like 1-2-Switch and Resident Evil) were suffering from freezes when enabling the joycon IR camera or motion controls.
  • Allow unsigned NCA
People asked us if we could get rid of the NCA integrity checks, so we did! Custom NCA files, modified NCA files and repackaged NCA files should all work fine now.
  • Display SX OS version in menu
To better distinguish the different versions of SX OS we introduced a small version number display in our menu.
  • LayeredFS fixes for 4.1.0
There were certain issues with 'LayeredFS' for people on firmware 4.1.0. If you use 'LayeredFS' on that specific firmware there's good news for you: these issues have been identified and fixed!
And that's that for this release. We have quite the backlog of feature requests and todo's on our plate, but trust we'll get there!

The doubters must be new to the scene. TX still makes it happen because they work together to make it better. Still waiting for that Atmosphere release but nobody wants to help each other out in the open source community. Reason why.. nobody getting paid to make it happen. TX is getting paid and they are making it happen. Simple logic. They basically did everyone a favor so there is already a platform working and it's easy to use without all the messy coding. It's a typical Steve Jobs tactic.

I ran into the IR system lockup for the first time today (trying to play RE:R). First time I've ever had a Switch game crash (let alone take down the system), and they've fixed it already! Best money I've ever spent.

User error. I have it and the update installed. Working perfectly.
I have 1 file. It includes the game and the update in 1 nsp. I used it on devmenu and it works but on sx-os it seems like only the update gets installed.

If get error with nsp files you have a bad dump plus you can use old way with Pokemon quest all games work if you download from title keys so people with errors it's your files enjoy I want a wii u emu soon for switch.

stardew valley+update could be installed, but after starting got message like: see pic
have 2 seperate files: the game and the update

[edit]
add screenshot

when try to install via devmenu, i got error: failed to install the nsp file 0x00014005

it works with the main game nsp and update nsp separately. but the stardew valley+ update nsp in 1 file works with devmenu only. for those of you wanting to know.
edit: actually it says could not install ticket.

I remember when devs using their free time to code CFWs and find exploits were praised. Now they're always being shit on by fukn impatient kids with mommy's credit card who are too stupid to get things working outside of dragging and dropping.

I totally understand why some of you would support TX, they're delivering a product that works and the dongle is incredibly useful, but how do you shit on the actual devs that TX is stealing from? This scene is kinda Garbo ngl.

You got a dump with a cert that doesn’t match yours and wants to check online to see whether you own this or not.

Turn off wifi maybe?

Backup Loading on a new console always brings out the scum, 3DS was a shitshow as well at the beginning. Just look at how people that bricked with the pozznx payload were shamed, really thoughtful and nice.

That error code is for bad nsp. Download it again or use other source if you aren't downloading directly from CDN. Happened to me earlier, sometimes the file corrupts

i think (maybe) its a bad dump, i try downloading another version and install again

It's probably just that the title installer - which is clearly a lightly modified Tinfoil - isn't very good yet. Try installing with DevMenu.

It took absolute -ages- for FBI to become better than the 3DS dev menu. Probably will be a similar situation on Switch.

it was a bad dump, the new version works with dev menu
if i try to install with sx os, it only takes a second, but wont run
