risky then , if you have 100% sure it's new unsealed you should go for it if not maybe it's better to find sth else?

I also noted that this version had 4k hdr dynamic 4k gaming on it, which indicates its a never version? Do you have any feedback on this?
EDIT: also i dont feel inclined to buy expensive stuff off ebay as i've had bad experiences with warranty claims from ebay sellers.

Not all units with HDR logo have high firmwares.
Not forcing you to buy on eBay just giving examples.
The easiest way to buy new (unused) is to buy bundle.
Newest consoles (7116) with desire fw are:
1) God Of War Limited Edition fw 4.73 (accept China and HK )
2) Monster Hunter World Limited Edition fw 4.73
3) Battlefront 2 Limited Edition fw 4.70
Older one (7015):
Destiny 2 Bundle fw 4.70
Also all models with numbers 70xx are safe.
Try to find one of this.

I bought my GoW Limited Edition used, mint condition, never pluged to the internet 4.73 fw for 410 EUR i consider it to be good price.
Under 400 EUR is a very good price.
400-450 EUR - normal, fair price

Bought the PRO grand turismo bundle as seller decided to let me peek the box! IT WAS 7C DATESTAMP. (Meaning end of 2017) AND I CONFIRMED 4.7 FW
Bundle was 420 euro gave the seller the sealed game back for 20 eu coz i couldnt be bothered to resell the game for more even though its sealed.
Total price 399 eu <3
EDIT: please note that i shopped around and found several ps4 slim 500gb and ps4 pro 1tb stand alones with 8b timestamp, so be careful because new firmware have become the main stock.
