good thing it worked! i just used my switch and my version of xenoblade.
Ah, that's weird. I wonder why my Checkpoint extracted save didn't work. Hopefully if I use the save you provided it will continue working, even after modifying it and putting it back on my Switch, hah.

Whenever I tried loading up my file to the editor I get this message saying "Could not load file assemble 'DataGridViewNumericDownElements, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Data has not been loaded.
Here's my file if someone can help with this error.

i tried to load your save but everything is just fine... did you just extract the EXE file without the folder? or probably your computer deleted a certain file

Hello once again GBATemp!
And Hello Switch Section!

Here is a little something I have been working on for about a month or so... A fully-fledged Save Editor for Xenoblade Chronicles 2!
This app can be used to edit just about anything within the save file, to whatever values you want, even values that would not be normally obtainable via normal gameplay.

Here is the README:

Here are some screenshots:

And with this, my month-long break has come to an end, and it is back to work for me first thing Monday morning, so I will be back to being super busy once more, and I will not be online very much. That said, I will try to monitor this thread when I get the chance, so constructive feedback is appreciated. (Especially if you are experimenting with how the game reacts to certain modifications, or if you discover how any of the Unknown Fields work and what they change in game!)

Download Here:

And as always...
Enjoy!
GREAT WORK!

For those still experiencing the "Sequence contains no matching element" error, one solution i found was to download one of the save file stickied in this thread, load that save, then load your own save, it'll still show the "Sequence contains no matching element" error, but this time you can edit the values.Once done save your file as "bf2savefile4a" (or any name really), because if you save it as "bf2savefile4" (normal) then theres a chance the edit won't be saved. When injecting the save just change the file name back to "bf2savefile4".

Edit : Can't really test this out in-game as my switch is still broken

Yeah, it was the fact that I just pulled the editor from the file instead of activating it from the extraction with the other files that were provided. Working perfectly now.

Wow, it's awesome that we have a new editor available! Thanks for your work! It's crazy that we can now just add any rare blades we want. I think I'll keep trying to just run through legendary cores because I enjoy the gacha thrill (so long as you have infinite cores to open up lol). It's good to have the option if I get sick of it though.

Does anyone know if this editor would fix a DLC save edited with the other editor? The latter was apparently messing up some DLC blades by omitting some info in the save file.

Anyone mind explaining how the affinity chart works?
All i have been doing is replacing the "count" but sometimes it doesn't work and ya really need to open it inside the game to work

Do we know if this editor breaks the DLC saved files ?
