First off, im new here so I dont know if this thread is in the right spot. Anyways...

I think I read somewhere that you can launch your switch CFW from Windows once you launch it once, so that you do not need to go into RCM mode every time to launch CFW. Is this actually possible? If so, please give me details, thanks! <3

There are exploits possible of doing this but they are not publicly available nor we do we know when they will be released. Another thing to note is that they only work up to 4.1 as of now. Do not update if you wish to use these exploits (or update without burning fuses if you know how to do it).

You can use Briccmii or AutoRCM to boot always on CFW using hekate AutoBoot feature.

using hekate AutoBoot feature.

Once this has been set up, it does not need to go to neither recovery mode or use a jig.
Hekate auto boot is not used to bypass the need for RCM, it is just a way to bypass the Hekate menu during startup from RCM after sending the payload

This depends if he is referring as in:
  • I dont want to go to RCM becasue i dont want to select options each time.
  • I Literally don't want the switch to access CFW via Recovery Mode.

I do not want to have to go into rcm mode everytime I want to launch CFW. I dont want to have to use a jig and inject the payload everytime I want to launch the CFW. Does this clear stuff up? It looks like you guys are saying I can?

Then i stand correct, you can use AutoRCM + Hekate Autoboot.

When using AutoRCM, make sure the console does not run out of battery. If it does, it will take longer than usual for it to regain enough charge to turn back on. Your options for power management are:
  1. Leaving the console in perma-sleep mode and charging then
  2. Charging while the Switch is on then powering off either from Hekate/SX OS or manual shutdown (hold power for 12 seconds)

What? No, that's not how it works at all. You would still need a device to push the Hekate payload to the switch. Autoboot just means bypass the Hekate menu once you've pushed the payload

No matter what, at the moment, you will always need to at least send the payload, even if you enable auto RCM/autoboot

are you saying that is possible to charge the switch after drain battery on RCM?
Did i miss something in this thew days or im a dump understanding this?

from what i know, with autoRCM i cant charge the switch untill i open it and charge the battery manually (?). Am i correct?

People are splitting hairs.

OP is asking if CFW can be accessed without going through RCM at bootup. The answer is no, not at this point.
