They all have a time bomb, which is 2019-09-03.
Not literal.Huh? There going to blow up?
No, it just means they stop working when a certain date is reached, making it unusable.Huh? There going to blow up?

I really won't suggest the ak2i (despite being my favorite cart) due the contact issues that make it completely unusable if you breath too hard in the general direction of the cart. The Supercard DSTWO isn't worth the price anymore. The major selling points(GBA/SNES emulation) have been replaced with ROM injections.Since you already have B9S, you can use any DS flash cart (sans DSTT because it overrides BIOS).
If you run DS homebrews often, buy an AceKard 2I as it is the "standard" when developing homebrews.
If you only play DS commercial ROM, buy a DSTwo (not plus,it is not worth it) as it has an on-cart processor that can "debug" (read:cheat) raw RAM on the fly.
Avoid anything if it has the word "R4iSDHC" anywhere on the cart. They all have a time bomb, which is 2019-09-03.
But there is still one selling point, that is you can directly edit the game's RAM instead of loading preconfigured cheats.Personally I always suggest the R4i Gold Plus. You get all the benfits that you would get with the akAIO plus RTS and you has have a cart with a switch for NTRBoot for any possible future hacking.

I would agree that every single cart made by the R4i-SDHC team is complete crap and it's completely their fault.

It's a cool feature and something I played around with back in the day, so I can't really disagree with that being a selling point. But there is still one selling point, that is you can directly edit the game's RAM instead of loading preconfigured cheats.
Remember that Rosalina can only work in 3DS mode, which is impossible if you are using a DS cart.

The cheapest one and use YSmenu or change the time back to xxx for them to work.I need your help guys ..
Recently i got my cfw luma9 (seedminer method). Now i want to know which flascard should i buy to play nds dumps properly
Any recommendations?
Well you cannot use that trick on a 3DS.The cheapest one and use YSmenu. And change time back to xxx for them to work. Or buy like a $10-$15 card which does not have a timebomb.

Which means nothing about not being able to use it. You can always go back for the DS flashcards to work. There is no problem with that.Well you cannot use that trick on a 3DS.
If you change back the system time some games like SM4SH will trash the save file.
one advice was to avoid all r4i cards .. R4i Gold 3DS Plus is not a timebomb ? i simply want to play nds. dumps on my 3dsThe cheapest one and use YSmenu or change the time back to xxx for them to work.

99% of ds flashcards are called r4i, so you can't about them. Nope the gold plus does not have a time bomb.one advice was to avoid all r4i cards .. R4i Gold 3DS Plus is not a timebomb ? i simply want to play nds. dumps on my 3dsim still unsure
They're the same price, and the plus gets improved battery life.If you only play DS commercial ROM, buy a DSTwo (not plus,it is not worth it)
No, you were advised to avoid the r4i-SDHC brand name. r4i Gold is a different brand, and basically universally recommended. There's some debate about whether the r4i Gold or dstwo gets better battery life, I believe the ds2 (Mine is a +) does. In any case, my r4i Gold doesn't fit in my 3DS, so I can't test.one advice was to avoid all r4i cards .. R4i Gold 3DS Plus is not a timebomb ? i simply want to play nds. dumps on my 3dsim still unsure
They are not. DS2 is about $10 in China.DS2+ is about $20.AK2i is about $4.The crappy R4i-SDHCs are about $7.They're the same price

That is terrible advice and the timebomb is an issues. Although it can be avoid with ysmenu, it's still an issue that needs to be concerned about.99% of ds flashcards are called r4i, so you can't about them. Nope the gold plus does not have a time bomb.
Still, the rule of thumb for me is: cheaper is better (because I don't care about the time bomb).
You just need to avoid the R4i-SDHC/R4iSDHC brands of carts, they have a timebomb. They also have a cart called the R4i Gold Pro, which is the same as the others and has a timebome.one advice was to avoid all r4i cards .. R4i Gold 3DS Plus is not a timebomb ? i simply want to play nds. dumps on my 3dsim still unsure
But they aren't that price for the rest of the world. As well most people can't buy from China. The DSTWO is normally about 35$ to 40$ US and have become extremely rare online. They are not. DS2 is about $10 in China.DS2+ is about $20.AK2i is about $4.The crappy R4i-SDHCs are about $7.
Remember that most of the flashcarts are made in China.

lol sorry meant r4i gold, AUTOCORRECT!!!!!Personal i like the 4th gold series (preferably 2018) they work good and you can find them for ridiculously cheap on wish (I personally found one for 4$!). just watch out for fakes, there pretty easy to tell from real flashcarts.

Why, when it is so simple to bypass it?That is terrible advice and the timebomb is an issues. Although it can be avoid with ysmenu, it's still an issue that needs to be concerned about.
