Additional Comments i was downloading some demos to use as donor, disconnected, went back online couple hours later and was banned.

The last thing that i recall doing was installing parental control, dunno if it was the culprit.

It's all very random atm. Very few people have just used XS OS and got banned. We still need more data.

Of my 3 switches, here is the status:

Switch 1: perfect functionality, no modifications made.

Switch 2: some layeredFS use, use of some home brew while connected to the internet, still has complete functionality with online services and such.

Switch 3: Used SX OS to play snes completely offline, as I deleted all network settings prior to use of SX. Reverted to OFW for some good online fun via fortnite and MK8 Deluxe with buddies. 3 days in, random sudden system shut off and intermittent freezes. Day 4, big floppy ban hammer.

—-NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE————-

My conclusion, SX OS is anything but safe. I would also go so far as to say the same for LayeredFS pretty much for what it is. But haven’t been banned on the LayeredFS one yet and have been toying with it for weeks and still no issues.

2124-4007 indicating a console ban. To check if your account is banned as well, try using the eShop from outside the Switch (it is a question in the poll). So far, it seems they are banning both but mostly consoles.

At the very least, can you use the form on the first post to answer all of the questions related to your 3rd Switch?

This one you don't have to do (but it gives me some evidence to defend LayeredFS), but a form for the 2nd Switch can also be useful to find out why LayeredFS has not banned you yet.

I actually really don't think they can check THAT well, but it is a very interesting point and I'm surprised no one else brought it up (including myself). It will be added onto a separate tab until someone is banned for using a trimmed rom (or if someone has already been banned for using one).

IIRC the trimmed parts are just trash files that are all the same, so the launcher itself refills them when it loads a rom. But who knows...

For argument's sake, yes, but it has not been proven yet. You'd have to make up some type of story that Nintendo believes is good enough to un-ban you depending on whatever you did or think you did to get banned. There is certainly no harm in trying to call Nintendo and see if they are willing to un-ban you but do not get your hopes up.

I have 2 switches. Current switch was updated to the latest fiemware before installing SX OS. Activated SX OS offline. Have not gone online. Played Mario Rabbids and Kirby for 1 hr. Did not install updates on games. Have had SX OS installed 01/28/18 at 11:00 pst. Will update daily. Forgot to add, that for this purpose, I created a new account on the switch.

4. Pressing profile in SX OS and it immediately crashed. Then play splatoon 2 online with original catridge with OFW and get this error code.
