Just now started updating all of my games. But found out something about my switch i did not know! If i go more then a day with out it being online it will not let me play dlc's untell i go to ofw and pop online really fast and load the store.

this sounds annoying..
good to know..

havent updated anything yet, planned to update xeno and download the jap audio dlc :l
but to know that id have to boot ofw every time and pop online etc. sounds like a rl hassle x.x

ufff but if forced to, id have to deal with that, good thing is i rarely power off my switch.

Did you use Cert from another game, or just blank cert?

Didn't use layered FS at all.

Just about everyone who went online with backups are banned. Every Switch game backup from these *cough* downloading sites have a unique certificate.

Updating backup games are confirmed not safe there have been multiple reports of ppl being banned just from that even when they were offline the entire use of the SX OS.
I'm uncertain if the JPN DLC requires an update. The best thing I can say is go ahead and download the DLC on OFW then launch the game in SX OS offline to see if it works

At this point, even in OFW it's still not confirmed 100% safe. Your best shot is to wait for more info or take the risk (various users have not been banned yet, but some reported they were)

It's not really "proven" that only updating in OFW is unsafe, and has actually been stated that updating only retrieves your console ID, and nothing regarding certs. Check the database, every single person who updated also used layeredFS, aside from only 5 people. Of those 5, 3 stayed online the entire time in CFW and while playing and loading games, etc. Of the remaining 2, one had sending errors and data checked, meaning of the safeties, only a single person to date got banned from solely updating in OFW while offline for everything else. Unless there are new reports not accounted for.

Always was on airplane, never updated backups, i didnt do the clear the de-report which might be the cause? Who knows. I Was able to used eshop yesterday, then today i installed SX OS. Once i install SX OS is when i got banned today. I started again in normal OFW, and tried to unlink my nintendo account is when i got banned. I know i shoulda unlinked before installing the sx os. No biggie i dont play anything online anyways. Just wanted to inform.

Clearing logs is only not advised on 5.X and there are plenty of bans from non-US folk. It is a misconception that the bans are only happening in the US.

Im not gonna clear logs because its a red flag for nintendo,but it has to do with homebrew as you mention to the other post.
So i should worry that this error will trigger a ban,am i right?!

Well if you don't clear the error log, that error will be sent to Nintendo and that error cannot be triggered on an unhacked Nintendo Switch so it may lead to a ban.

error 2345-0021 Libnx fail is going to be a common error for anyone using homebrew or the sx os I've gotten it 2 times offline so still no ban

Well if you don't clear the error log, that error will be sent to Nintendo and that error cannot be triggered on an unhacked Nintendo Switch so it may lead to a ban.

I always using it online,but im not sharing errors and i turned off information sharing from my wifes account.
