Is it possible? I've looked at about as much as I can look at and haven't found a way. The crack thread says sxos payload.bin is just a simple pointer so. Can we use Hekate to kickstart sxos boot.dat?

Disclaimer: This will self destruct once TX patches sxos to bypass efuse checks.

They already patched it to avoid burning the fuses though. The checks don't matter much if the fuses are never burned.

Yes it does, each firmware expects a certain amount of fuses to be burned. Hekate bypasses this, TX does not. You cannot currently boot 5.1.0 with TX if you used the firmware upgrade method here.

I see, I thought it only checked that no more than the maximum amount of fuses are burned.

Even though it bypasses it, I believe there are still more checks and kernal, security and other important thing it needs to be matched up.

The version 1 did allow it to run but once it reached the stage of kernal doing checks etc it'll just trigger an official firmware method or such and burn it out. But firmware 1.1 just said to ignore any fuses but does not play well with hetake and our loaders, kernal patches etc.

So not at this stage of getting it working unless the dev's knew either the SX OS source code or if SX OS will look at hetake and Raj's work to make something work, shouldn't be too hard long as we have enough people to request it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

We all know where this is heading, people are probably having issues like me for LFS

So using this modded update files to run on lower firmware switches with fuses intact I have tried the following with LFS and can report the following.

It'll either go past nintendo black screen, or show me the common error screen on second attempt on loading another game.
I also followed the previous attempts and verified games that work with what donor tites and also tried all 2-3 copies of the programs such as pragmasAIO and the XCI2TitleConv.
Then tried different versions of all the LFS and payload injectors including the one that has the fuseepatch=1 version.
They all load fine homebrew works but LFS and redirection doesn't play well unless someone has gotten it to work fine?

TX uses nintendo boot loader, Hekate does not. Period.

The payload.bin has already been hacked. Just need to be able to point hekate to the boot.dat.

If TX can make it so you can boot external payloads (chainload) I'm sure someone else can. I'm guessing nobody has yet.

We need a boot menu like I had on my 3DS.

You can do and load quite a few options in hetake.ini and load multiple plugins, kernals and do debugs.

Wouldn't you consider that like a bootmenu?

Nope™.

And by bootmenu I meant boot loader menu, aka grub style. So I may have one payload to rule them all.

It's coming Soon™, I hope...

Unless you could give me a quick example of how to do this now? That would be helpful.

Memloader?
