There is no point in downgrading to 1.0.0 using Ray's method, because you need to launch 1.0.0 through hekate every time now, which defeats the point.

A month ago 1.0 was like the holy grail when people were anticipating Atmosphere's release. Now after SX OS launch, 1.0 is like an antique that can't play games.

1.0.0 is still the holy Grail, but downgrading to it makes no sense. Since the fuses are already burned you will have to boot through hekate every time.

yeah i know (but i dont really care to boot within hekate)
Well, that makes 1.0.0 no better than any higher FW. You maybe be able to launch into RCM through software once you're in horizon, but before you can even do that you will still have to boot into RCM using a jig to launch horizon everytime, which makes it useless.

so how did you downgrade if you didn't have 1.0 backup and already burnt the fuses for 1.0???

You can get the 1.0.0 firmware from carts that contain it. The purpose would be pretty limited to developers who want to test stuff on the firmware.

There is no reason to downgrade to 1.0.0 unless you didn't burn any additional efuses (i.e. you only have one burnt fuse) because you updated to >1.0.0 following rajkosto's guide.

My switch is still on 1.0.0. Haven’t touched it since launch. Should I just get rid of it?

If someone offered you enough money then I would. When atmosphere is first released there will be a benefit to 1.0.0, but over time that will reduce.

If the mariko switch is much better and gets any kind of exploit then the value of all original switches will go down, it's unlikely many people will compare about the convenience of an inferior switch.
