Ok. I already formatted my new as card to fat32 and checked it with h2testw. I didn’t hack my 3ds. I bought it hacked. How do I check if I have a EmuNAND. I have used godmode9 and didn’t see an EmuNAND. Does that mean I don’t have one?
I'm going with the assumption your system is using the typical Luma3DS v9.0, GodMode9 v1.6.3 (give or take), and boot9strap v1.3 trifecta since it's a N2DSXL.
If your old SD card under GodMode9 does not have drives [S:] , [4:] , [5:] , [6:] , [B:] , and [E:], then you don't have EmuNAND.
There's another way to check for this by holding the (Select) button when turning on the N2DSXL. This should boot you into
Luma3DS v9.0 configuration.
See if the
(x) Autoboot EmuNAND option has been selected. If this is turned off
( ), you're using SysNAND.
If it's on, this doesn't necessarily mean you have EmuNAND. You'll have to verify this with
(x) Show NAND or user string in System Settings, press START to save, boot into HOME Menu, go to System Settings, and check if it displays
Emu 11.6.0-39U.

If your computer does not properly recognize your old 32 GB card, try to find a different computer to rule out a bad SD card reader.
If in both cases they want to reformat the card, your card's partition table is incorrectly set up. Windows File Explorer's error checker can sometimes scan and correct this without a reformat but not always. When error checker can't correct the table, the only way to fix your card is by doing a reformat, which entails wiping everything off it.
In order to save your CFW setup as best you can, you should install the 3DS homebrew app Checkpoint or JKSM save manger to produce backups of your game saves. Try to retrieve those saves and whatever files you can using a recovery software like Recuva program in Windows. Ignore the recognition failure from Windows File Explorer's as Recuva should be able to scan and copy your files off that card.
For whatever reason your old CFW setup cannot be successfully implement on your new card, you're basically left with restarting from scratch in adding those CFW files:

As long as you have those game saves, you can reinstall your game collection and restore the saves with no lost game progress.
