I'm not sure. Had it on 84% and switched off while plugged. It went to 94% so definitely charges while off.Im pretty sure it stops charging untill you turn it on again. Utterly shit design choice.

Isn't it just the Linux distros that doesn't support the battery fully that makes the Switch wack? But if you boot in RCM and boot Horizon, it should be fine. But don't quote me on that.
SciresM is working on a solution but I don't know how his test subjects have had any success or not.From what I understand, This is the case. I've heard that as long as you only boot linux from 100% and only go back to Horizon at 100%, you'll be fine; but I have not tested this, I'd like confirmation first. Linux is one of the main reasons I bought my Switch, but I'm scared.
