He said yesterday that he finally got some free time to work on atmo but he stated that it was also the day of the Pokemon reveal... Oh well, let the man have some fun! :D

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

he might be done his cfw and just waiting to drop it on the 15th
I don't believe they're holding on a final version to be released later. They have been updating the code constantly and if you have the knowledge you can already run some of it's components

i highly doubt hes datamining that ''game''

SciresM @ Twitter posted 10:22 PM - 29 May 2018 :
I think that's all there really meaningfully is to datamine out of Quest -- I should probably actually go play it, and then it'll be back to your regularly scheduled Atmosphere dev. :)
Data posted for Pokemon Quest included:
  • Stone Textures
  • Achivement Textures
  • Goods Textures
  • Encounters .dat file
  • Icons for Skill Moves
  • Pokemon Sprites
  • Fact that its made in Unity
  • Models as FBX

why datamine quest? it sucks unless he finds something that allows you connect (transfer) to LGP/LGE which would be cool and understandable i think he maybe looking for that specificly but dumping everything along the way

there haven't been any commit in recent days.

My guess is that the CFW is done "enough" and they're holding the last couple of tweaks so that people don't go crazy trying to install/brick/ask for help

thing is the common end user doesn't know how to compile/install it (I can compile it but running it is another story)

Does it compile without errors now? I should check myself really! :)

Aren't the end files just sent to dist or output to use on SD along with payload / bootloader like hekate?

End of the day I'm sure we'll get docs and know when it's ready so look forward to playing around with it. Retroarch especially.

Then to get the HW video acceleration drivers working :)

Nop just mentioning, since i have already seen your post , just a friendly suggestion, posting too many times the same message / pic or whatever, might be considered as Spam.
Oh thanks for the heads-up! Hmm, maybe I should re-embed the image without the quote...

Yes, but is not rocket science. I am sure there are youtube tutorials by 13year olds that explain you the basics, so you'd be surprised by the amount of people that would try it following plenty of dodgy tutorials.

git clone
edit to remove the warning or set the variable
install two things
set the paths to the two things you just installed
build
voila
