To be fair, it works pretty well, and a lot of the problems we see with the Native Retro are non-existent. It has it's only problems, and of course, won't be as efficient as a native solution, but hey, it's not a bad idea.

Is it not technically "native" though? Running Linux on the hardware rather than a virtual os.

I was speaking about the native RetroArch running LibTransistor. The one on 3.0.

It won't support sound for a long time (its seems like sound for Switch Linux is a though issue). Besides the battery desyncing issue this is the main reason why it's not for end user yet.
